Oops, sorry!

Could you please authenticate coach small kelsey I saw on fb?

I wonder because the serial number is in different font and spacing than the other bag made in the same factory, which is plant 80View attachment 3944294View attachment 3944295View attachment 3944296View attachment 3944297View attachment 3944298View attachment 3944299

This is also small kelsey, the other serial number is stanton. I included it because it is produced on the nearer date with the black kelsey. Also, it seems the kelsey's lining is in plain fabric, but the black one has coach coach all over it like swagger lining. The leather on black kelsey creed and blue kelsey also seems different, or is it just me?

Thank you!

It's really difficult to answer your questions for a number of reasons.

There are very few sellers/listings where the pictures show everything we need to see both for authentications as well as for determining if and when certain details were done.

1. Several of the popular styles of bags in the last several years, particularly some with creeds without serial numbers/production-serials on white labels have been extremely "well faked."
2. Few sellers know what to show to prove authenticity
3. Even in the same style, Coach makes changes during the course of production, sometimes altering lining fabric used, sometimes adding serial numbers back on to the creed, etc.
4. I don't know whether they've "thickened" the font and varied the linings during the course of production, mostly because there aren't enough examples that show those parts of the bags.
5. It looks like during the first 1/2 of 2015, lining had the "Coach" name woven into it and later in the year, they changed to a non-logo'ed lining.

However based on my comps shown below, I believe your (purple) bag to be authentic.
Here are some comps:
36675 in question vs same plant.png
Your bag in question is on the left ^^^^^

And as you can see, depending on when the bag was made, there are differences.
36675 serial number NOT on creed july and Sept 2015 CREED-White tag Rakuten.png
36675 serial number NOT on creed Dec, 2015 blk CREED-WHT LABEL.png

36675 serial number on creed 2017 blk CREED-TAG.png

Then we have listings such as the following that MIGHT be authentic but don't have some of the necessary pictures to positively authenticate YET there's a picture of the fake dust bag!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Coach-...-Leather-Crossbody-Bag-NWT-Purse/173113884958

Bottom line: I believe your purple bag is authentic.

Please post a photo of the creed patch, the 2 small fabric tags inside the bag showing the country of manufacture and the one probably buried all the way in the bottom of the inside zipper pocket showing the production codes. And please include a photo of the INSIDE of the paper price tag with the codes and style number. Post number One in this thread lists most of the details that we need.

There is no creed patch or any other tag for that matter. But here are the pictures of the other items you requested.

Thankyou! But the one I'm asking about actually is the black kelsey one, because the serial number's font is quite different compared to the other bags produced by the same factory, even with the nearer date production. The serial numbers you've shown earlier also looks different with the black one.

And in the creed, it seems the leather of the black kelsey and the purple one is somewhat different. The photos of the black kelsey is the ones I've attached between the paragraphs, and the comparisons are on the bottom after the "thank you".

Ohh, so the outlet bags also have their lining with coach all over them for awhile? I thought the lining with coach is just for the retail store.

Btw, I'm just curious, do the outlet bags also have the original dustbag in the early 2015? I wonder because nowadays the outlet didn't provide the dust bag any longer. Maybe just for the small accessories like bagcharm.

Thank you!

I'll answer your last question first because it's the easiest to answer. Outlet bags generally don't include dust bags unless they have one available to give you, possibly from a FP bag that got separated from the dust bag.

Regarding the dust bag, one of your pictures shows a really sloppy raw edge. Is that part of the dust bag? That doesn't seem right; I've never seen that type of sloppiness on a genuine dust bag. I question the authenticity of the dust bag.

As for the black bag, if I'd bought the bag, I'd return it. Because the bags are well faked, I suspect this might be one of the close ones.

As the following pictures show, the font and spacing are off on the white labels as compared with others from 2015 and from the same factory.

Additionally, although few sellers have enough of the "right" pictures, I can't find a single bag with logo lining.

I just don't feel comfortable enough with the details of the black bag. I don't believe it's authentic.

In the picture below, the first image is the black Kelsey bag in question.

Thank you very much! So my suspicion is right. One more question. I've seen many of the fake bags included the "greeting card from Mike" along with the old carecard for the newer styles. Is that greeting card really exist in the past?

Oh, to answer your question, I think the raw edges is not the dustbag

No, not as far as I know. Just another instance of the fakes makers and distributors going overboard trying to make their cwap seem more legitimate. If anyone can provide photos of such a card that they got with an unquestionably genuine Coach bought directly from Coach.com, we'd love to see it.
