Yes, it is fake. If you haven't paid already, don't. Contact them and tell them you want to cancel the sale due to authenticity. Goodwill has a corporate wide policy of not selling fakes, but the individual stores don't always follow this policy.

If you have already paid, I would still try to get them to cancel the sale and refund before shipping. There is a return policy posted at the bottom of the listing. As a last resort, if you have already paid and can't get a refund from Goodwill, contact your credit card company.
Thanks. Lesson learned.

Erred and bid on desire (and won) before authenticating. After the fact research leads me to believe it's fake.
Hanging head in shame awaiting your verdict.
On a side note does anyone know how GW is about refunds?[/QUOTEI

Actually I have had good luck with refunds from GW....just use the contact link and let them know you had it authenticated here...they will prob have u cut the creed off and take a pic and sent it to them.

Just an update: they were very receptive to my call and glad to know; they WANT to know about fakes and urged communication about anything that is not authentic.

Comments: I don't believe this is the correct creed text or font for the era. Please confirm.

Not just the creed and serial fonts, but look at the inside pocket zipper. It's not installed correctly, has more ups and downs than a roller coaster, the stitching is a mess and the leather edge is sticking up all around the zipper, and the zipper itself isn't even long enough and has to have an extra piece of leather at the closed end to cover the gap.

Genuine Turnlock Clutch, not quite vintage yet

IMG_1473371712.199246.jpgIMG_1473371723.111150.jpg
This one was just delivered. I just want to be sure. There are indents under the female side of the turnlock. The bag has never been used. They even accepted a best offer. I'm cautious because the price was already dirt cheap and they accepted even less. Here are better pics of turn lock and creed.
Did I mention this bag has never been used?

That's the turnlock it's supposed to have, it used the same style as the briefcases since it was considered part of the Business and Travel line.
