  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

It's a genuine Legacy Zip Top Satchel from 2005. This is NOT the thick "glove-tanned cowhide" used in the vintage bags, it's a much thinner and softer leather, more like what Coach used for the Kristins if you're familiar with those styles. If you're looking for the classic thick leather, this isn't it. I've had several bags with it and I liked it very much but I just want you to know in case you had your heart set on the thick vintage type of leather.

Genuine, this one is more like a business tote and the leather is probably thicker than the other one, but I don't know the name. It DOES have a "breakaway" zipper from what I can see, so be aware of that. Some members don't like that type of top zipper.

The Weston listed by poisonmama has a problem with the creed. I see other problems as well. I don't believe it to be authentic.

The wooden dowel appears to be too long and the ends are raw wood. On authentic bags, the ends of the dowel are leather covered. The font of the creed is wrong for the plant and year. The rivets on the straps are wrong.
After looking at poisonmama's other listings, I discovered that 4 out of 5 of her Coach bag listings are fake. Don't buy from poisonmama!
ETA: I think poisonmama knows those bags are fake. Her one authentic item is listed at a higher price than the others.

It's authentic and it is supposed to have a long strap. The seller may not realize this because the way Madison straps attach are different from other bags. There are no rings, just leather loops inside the folded part of the flap for the strap to slide through.
