Please follow the following requests:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number

  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Probably because it got lost. A seemingly common occurrence with the near-impossible-to-replace Madison removable straps. In fact, I just bought a trashed Biltmore just to obtain a strap for a two-tone Gracie that I picked up many moons ago (that was missing its own). The combined cost of the two items wasn't terrible though, but that's only because I got lucky on both purchases.

You can always ask her for a photo of the inside of the flap and then inquire as to the purpose of the two leather loops.

ETA: Oops, don't know why this took so long to post, but it appears to have gotten hung up in the ether and in the interim others have proffered more than complete replies to the query. And I concur, finding a forest green Madison snap strap would be highly unlikely.

The wooden dowel appears to be too long and the ends are raw wood. On authentic bags, the ends of the dowel are leather covered. The font of the creed is wrong for the plant and year. The rivets on the straps are wrong.
After looking at poisonmama's other listings, I discovered that 4 out of 5 of her Coach bag listings are fake. Don't buy from poisonmama!
ETA: I think poisonmama knows those bags are fake. Her one authentic item is listed at a higher price than the others.

I find that showing side by side comps are helpful in seeing differences. The first creed is poisonmama's creed, the second is from the same style but different month, same year and plant, and the third is from the same month/year/plant.

I should clarify that my reply where I mentioned "more like a business tote" was about the second bag Biermama asked about in her post, not the fake Weston. I was going to look at the "Weston" after I posted my answer but got sidetracked and forgot.

And yes, side by side comps are a big help. That's why someone trying to authenticate something without knowing exactly what the creed and serial number for that style, plant, month and year should look like is going to have problems.

Thanks BeenBurned, that's the kind of info I like! I'm the kind of gal who would love to be able to see the specs and history of the entire coach line!
