I've never seen it before, but it looks like it could be part of the Berkeley collection. It looks like the seller added a clearer picture of the creed. The serial number is C6B-0517, which could be a valid number for a backpack. Maybe Hyacinth has seen it before.

Comment: is this authentic please,? Creed is very blurry
It looks like a genuine Berkeley Backpack.
A lot of those spots look like water stains which might wash out. I think for the price it might be worth the risk, especially if you don't mind using dye if they don't wash out.Greetings experts!! Is this by chance a late '80s drawstring sac? Is it rehabable?

Comment. The pictures aren't great, but better than those posted before. The serial is 528-4747. Thank you!!
I do not know much about this tote as it was a gift, so I apologize for not following proper post format. Can anyone authenticate this? Thank you for your time.

HI WHATEVE!!! HI LADIES!! I reported it, but I think someone else needs to report..ebay is NOT showing me LOVE.. there are 10 watchers~(which doesn't mean much most of the time) I keep seeing this bag with the Fat bad creed~then it disappears. The pics are always different.. I'm on a half hearted search for a Helen for a friend of mine,( which means I search for one when I'm supposed to be doing something else..LOL.).Do you think ebay ignores reports when they come from the same person every few days? I do...they think I'm the COACH Police & a "KVETCHER"..someone please get this bag gone...Thanks all!!! SheriYes, it's fake. The BIN prefix has been showing up on a lot of fakes. It is a letter "I", not a "1" so it is an invalid prefix. The font is too thick, and the N factory code was being used for Mexico around that time, I believe. The grommets look silver and the zipper pull isn't stitched across. The shape of the inside pocket is too rounded and it looks too small.
That's normal for Turkish creeds. It looks genuine.[/QUOTE
Thanks so much, Hyacinth! I've never seen that before. Enjoy your weekend! Sheri
We've determined that 1999 H plant bags are most likely fake. This one has a 1998 year code. I don't have any proof that the H plant was operational in 1998, but I have a bag from August 1997 from that plant so it is possible it was still open in January 1998. January is a little early for nickel hardware for this style. The font isn't correct for an H plant. What bothers me most is the frame (the dents) around the numbers. True overstamping marks show the bottom and tops of the next numbers on the roll, so above the 8 you would see a dot for the bottom of the 7, etc. I don't see any construction errors in the pictures you've provided, but I think it is fake due to the creed.Hi ladies. My friend has this in her possession. She is thinking of maybe selling it and would like to know if it is authentic. Thanks in advance. I have read that the 1999 H plant bags may be fake.
I get the best results by posting them in the Hall of Shame. http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/coach-hall-of-shame-post-coach-fakes-here-824098.html I think someone from ebay might be monitoring it, or maybe it is because enough tpfers are reporting them, because they seem to get removed often.HI WHATEVE!!!
