I took these pictures once I got the bag home. For $7 and for it being so cute, I figured it was worth the risk. I thought the strap was really interesting since it's different than what I've seen in person or through combing eBay auctions.

Have never seen this style of bag, hardware (and placement), shininess, coloring, etc. It has rings for a longer strap but no strap pictured. Have a request in for creed picture. Just need an expert to weigh in.

Wait for other opinions, but I'm not comfortable with that font on the Coach logo, the Cs don't look right. And the "it was a gift" disclaimer is a MAJOR red flag.

There's a good reason why you've never seen that font!! It's because Coach didn't make the bag.

It looks like a genuine Saddlery Bag style 9535, from around 1986-87.

The creed looks good to me. I think the sewing machine operator may have panicked just a bit as she was coming into the corner and hit the brakes too early. ;)

Hey guys, just wanting to know if this is real? No creed, C's are cut off - but zipper has "ideal" on it. I've heard that Mini Bags do not have creeds but I've never looked at one to see. I did some digging and it seems to be the Peyton Sig Mini Bennett F50178, if it is real.

Bought these together for $40 on a local facebook group. The wristlet has the care card in it. She said they were authentic, but the bag is throwing me off since I've never had a Mini.. Thanks guys!!!

Both look authentic. Coach's official picture of the Bennett also has the C's cut off a bit.

ETA: The bag is currently selling at Coach for $99 so you got a bargain!

I agree that you got authentic items for a deal.

But I want to add a comment about your concerns.

Whatever "authenticity" guides you're reading about what real Coaches have and don't have, lose those links and forget whatever information you read.

1. Cut off Cs have nothing to do with authenticity. It's usually impossible to have every seam end with full Cs and on a curved bag, the impossibility is multiplied.
2. Zipper brand has nothing to do with authenticity. Firstly, Coach uses several different brands of zippers on its authentic items. Secondly, YKK zippers can and are faked and even if they're genuine, how easy is it to put a genuine (and inexpensive) YKK zipper into a fake?

Haha, that's what I was thinking too. Maybe it was a trainee who was working on their first real bag. I would be nervous too. Thanks for giving the okay on this one too :smile1:
