Me too. I feel this way about craigslist, as well. Since it is completely unpoliced, all you can do is flag it and hope that enough other people flag, as well. I have gotten some great authentic bags via craigslist, but I also see a lot of fakes.

The first is genuine.

You're right about the second, it's very fake.

It has a completely fake serial number with the ALWAYS-FAKE prefix "J4K-" and a year code "K" for 1994 that's FIVE YEARS TOO EARLY for this style, which wasnt even introduced by Coach until 1999. The silver hardware is also FOUR years too early for this style since Coach didn't start using silver hardware on "classic" purses until 1998 although a few Soho styles in limited colors had it available in Summer 1997.

That seller CFTAY should know better.

It's a genuine Lenox Bag, style 9918 from 1994. And Bonnie Cashin had absolutely nothing to do with it since it wasn't even introduced until 19 years after she'd left Coach.

It is good but I myself would not spend the money on it. The water stain is significant, the loose seam and the skanky interior are a deal breaker for me. If you are confident you can rehab it and get that seam fixed you might be ok.
