Could someone please authenticate this Coach Leatherware bag?
From GW...where else?
Approx. 11.25”w x 7.5”h x 3”d Strap drop 16” to clip
I'm guessing late 70's-mid 80's Convertible Clutch #9635 (I have one in BT)

Haha I was thinking of you when I went by GW today, I thing thy are having 50% off for Labor Day! Do the lobster claws have the anchor on then? I have been finding that a lot lately!:)

Obenauf's does need a lot of buffing. I find a micro-fibre cloth works better than a brush. Black Rock is great to finish off with and again will feel tacky if the bag has been over-conditioned, but it will also dry out after a day or two. Humidity also affects tackiness and the type and dryness of leather. I find both Leather Therapy and BR make Lightweights leather very tacky so I apply less than usual and wait longer for it to be absorbed.

It is very humid here right now; but it may be a combination of all the above. I appreciate the info and will take it in consideration when rehabbing my next bag(s). I tend to just sit and rub in that conditioner--I think it must be therapy!:smile1:

10456 is the hamptons Weekend Patchwork Swingpack. This one is the same line but in a File Bag. File Bags are larger than Swingpacks.

Coach changed the shape of almost all the briefcase turnlocks in 1996. I don't see any problems.
