That's okay. I have pictures of 9170. That's the classic pouch. It's bigger than this one. I'm thinking of one that looks like a small version of the classic pouch.Yes they did! style #9170 - I have a stock photos but I don't know how to make it small enough to put it here, sorry!
Obenauf's does need a lot of buffing. I find a micro-fibre cloth works better than a brush. Black Rock is great to finish off with and again will feel tacky if the bag has been over-conditioned, but it will also dry out after a day or two. Humidity also affects tackiness and the type and dryness of leather. I find both Leather Therapy and BR make Lightweights leather very tacky so I apply less than usual and wait longer for it to be absorbed.Good to know. I am finding in my (limited) rehabbing that sometimes the Blackrock and Obenauf's will leave it a little tacky. Maybe I'm putting too much on it or not buffing it out enough. I do let it set for at least a day or so. Maybe the hairdryer would help. I may try that.
Thanks much for your input!

That's interesting. Even Coach's own catalogs have different measurements for the same style.
The small shoulder bag shows it as 8 x 7 x 4
The shoulder bag with turnlock show the measurements as 8 x 6 x 3
As you know, we can't authenticate without seeing actual pictures of the bag. An I month code was sometimes used by mistake (I even have a 2012 bag with this mistake, so they are still doing it!) The U factory code is correct for Hungary. The seller valslilcloset if that helps.. Sorry I am getting really anxious!!
Also I found a Willis bag with the I6U prefix.. I looked at a old post and you said that bag was probably fine but was a mistake! That bag is made in hungry! Please help me as soon as you can!!

Hello all my favorite experts
I found this bag at an estate sale and the closest look alike I can find is the hampton patchwork # 10456, but this one is bigger at 11 1/2" W X 10" H and 1" deep
and it has # 10447 as shown, could this be the bigger sister to the 10456?
Thanks
RC
You're welcome. Briefcases aren't my specialty; I'll wait for someone else who knows more. This might be one of those styles where they changed the design slightly for the later versions.Ok thank you! I will try and post it. I'm not sure if I want to buy it now anyways ... What do you think about the briefcase??? Thank you!!

It looks fine. It's a Whitney hobo.I've taken a liking to this bag, but can't find many comparables. Real? Fake?
Thank you!
