Thanks...this poor bag was flat as a pancake...happier after a bubble bath. I had a tough time posting these 2 yesterday...When I went to add the pics, the copy appeared at the top of the page...disappeared out of the box you type in...had to copy from the top and paste back in! Multi-quotes are working today though.

Thanks, but not from the same store. The first one came from a consignment store and was pretty pricey...this one is from GW after 3 markdowns!

It's hard to tell with such small photos. I'd really like to see a close-up of the dog-leash clip on the strap and a few inches of the strap fabric.

You also may want to read the Salearea Coach Guides posted at Ebay, especially the ones on Creeds, Serial Numbers and Authenticity Guides.

The bag originally came from the outlet. Coach is stamping bullets on hang tags when there isn't a creed or other leather location. In fact, there are now bullets on the lozenges of some of the metal multi charm keychains sold at outlets.

Do you think this is authentic? The price tag shown in the pics. looks odd to me.....also noticed the seller previously sold a Coach skull keyring with pink rhinestones, that looks a little odd as well. TIA!

ETA: I also just googled the style # shown on the price tag 74106 and don't see any results, which also seems odd....

It's from several years ago, never too common so finding it in a google search by style number is unlikely to pull up much.

I don't see any problems with the card case or the seller's other items, including the skull pace fob.

Hello,

I was in a local Goodwill today and spotted this COACH Handbag in the display case. ( I have posted a photo of it. )

At first, I wasn't interested in the bag because the closure was missing.

Before I left the store, I went back to look at it and decided to get it. I figured that I could have the closure fixed.

When I got home, I went onto the COACH site looking for the bag and I couldn't find it.

At that point, I realized that it might be a fake.

Could you please let me know it it is the real thing or is it fake?

It's fake. The leather looks like elephant skin. The Coach imprint is in a weird place. Usually we need to see the embossed creed on the inside to authenticate but I feel confident even without seeing that.

There are many, many styles you wouldn't find on the Coach site. Coach has been making bags since the 60s, and only the most recent styles, produced within the last few months, would be on the website. Additionally, any styles made for their factory stores aren't going to be on the website.
