Hi! I purchased a pre-owned Coach Court bag. I thought I had a pretty good eye for authentic bags but this one night have gotten me fooled. Everything looked good except for two things: 1) it has silver hardware (I've only seen this bag in brass) and 2) the end of the piping stitching in the back looks uneven (see pic).

I'm still hopeful though! Please help me authenticate

It's a genuine Scribble Small Hobo.

I just want to add that this style and a few other scribble bags are exceptions to the centering/matching "rule."

Also, there are some very "good" fakes of scribbles, many with "correct" serial numbers. It's a good idea to have them checked before buying.

Thanks hyacinth and bb & Wateve & the rest of authenticators for your selfless contributions here!

Thanks for the reminder bb, I wanted to combine shipping from this seller so didn't think much and budded on it first.

We've said it before - Coaches aren't - and WEREN'T - perfect. The slightly uneven seam ends are not a problem.

And at various times between 1998 and 2000, Coach made nickle hardware available on many of its leather bags The Court bags had it available in mid-1998. I don't see any problems.

Thank you! This was made mid 1998 (H8C - 9870).

Now off to rehab her : )

Okay, time for some inspections! I have seven bags so I'll send them up separately to keep it simple.
Thanks in advance!!
FIRST one looks good to me, keeping my fingers crossed!

Second bag has correct measurements and details (as far as I can tell) for Station bag, the problem is that the creed is very shallow and/or worn so it's hard to read.

I can comment on this one.

It's fake as L4C-9956 is an invalid serial number, never used by Coach.

From that ^^^ link:

L4C-9956 or any style ending in -9956 - every one so far has been fake. The L4C- prefix usually appears in fake Signature fabric bags and so far -9956 has never been seen in a genuine bag.
