I have a very bad feeling about that bag.
Not only because thousands of fake Coaches are being sold through sellers in the Philippines, but because the creed patch and stamp doesn't match others from the same plant and year. The words run together and they shouldn't, The Carriage stamp and Coach logo on the creed are different from the others, and even the serial number font and spacing isn't the same.
The creed in a genuine Coach should usually be the same leather and color but like you already noticed, it's not.
The seller is also trying to avoid Ebay's selling restrictions by listing them as "Coaches" instead of "Coach" so that her listings won't get red-flagged and examined for possible violations.
There must be many fakes in this style, it's hard to tell real from fake. Compare it to this purse in the same style 18641 and supposedly made just a month before the one you're asking about.

The words on the creed are different, the sizes of the numbers and letters in the serial number are VERY different, and there's also a mistake in punctuation that should never be in a real Coach. The texture and color of the creed patch in the brown one DO match the leather on the rest of the bag. A photo of the creed is posted below. I believe the one your friend wants to buy is FAKE and I strongly advise her NOT to buy it.
More opinions are welcome.
