You could try contacting the seller and asking if there is another one available. After all, he burns them on DVD himself so he's not likely to run out of inventory.

And you could pay as much for a single paper catalog from the '80s or '90s as you would for the entire DVD. I really hate to be recommending anything from a seller with his track record, but unfortunately it's the only game in town.
If you look at his feedback he has sold at least 20-30 of them already.
So I'm sure he will make more!

Hiya girls!
Before I go any further with this purse, is it possible for a city bag
to be authentic with this serial number and be made in the United States?
C05M-9790
I don't believe so. The M plant was in the US in the mid 90s, then the code got reassigned to Costa Rica. It seemed to go back and forth between Costa Rica and the US. There is a possibility that M was used for the US as late as 2001. In 2004, M was used for China.

You didn't post any auction link or information - please read post number 1 in this thread for the information we need for authentication.

And while we don't need any photos to say with absolute certainty that Coach NEVER made any Hello Kitty keychains or any other HK items, we'd at least like to report the fake before someone gets stuck with it, so please supply the listing information if you can.

ETA - Never mind. Glad it was removed, but some sellers will try to re-list. It's always good to have the seller's name.

This auction is for a Super Cute Hello Kitty Coach Keyring! When I say Authentic I mean it and STAND by it!
I purchased this item myself in 2006 from Coach at the International Mall in Tampa, they released this one and the rhinestone bow tie one to commerate 30 years of Hello Kitty that year. It is part of my personal collection and only severe financial issue bring about the liquidation of many of my collections. I have the Customer Service Number for Coach and am more than willing to get on the phone with them and ANYONE interested in this auction. If any other pictures are helpful please let me know and I will get them right away. There is no "made in china" stamp anywhere on this beautiful piece and the Coach emblem is on the back and the key ring right where and how it is supposed to be. If anyone has any need to discuss further please message me and I will go so far as to give you my number to call me to discuss further. Please check my feedback I strive for 100% customer satisfaction!
All of my items are from a smoke free home!"

"Liar liar, pants on fire..."

None of these geniuses selling fake "Coach" Hello Kitty, Disney, and other items trademarked by other huge corporations have ever taken the time to explain why companies like Sanrio, Disney, etc need to have Coach make their keychains when the huge number of GENUINE keychains for sale from those big companies prove that they're completely capable of making them on their own - and of keeping ALL the profits instead of having to split them with Coach.

And besides that, there's another problem with the keychain too.

Yea, sorry.....forgot to include the link, came back a few seconds later and edited to add the link, checked link and the auction had already gone 'poof!'.

Hiya girls!

C05M-9790

AFAIK all the US plants had been closed by that time. The "classic" leather bags should have already started coming from China. My blue China-made Willis has an "F040-" prefix so it's hard to imagine a US-made bag from a year later. And my aubergine Willis is "F050-". My aubergine City Bag is "F050-9790", also from China.

This Hamptons was made two months EARLIER than that City Bag and has a China creed. So no, it's not possible.

I'm not expert on the bag but my non-expert eyes tells me that the bag is okay.

thecollector629 copied the serial number incorrectly. The bag is/was made in 1995, not 2005. It's C5M-9790:

Speaking of making mistakes... it must be contagious. See what happens when you pick on me? :lolots:

DON'T REPORT THAT BAG. And take another look at the serial number - it's C5M-, not C05M-, and it's genuine.

Maybe Coach at one time did cover the back of the turnlock, but I've never seen it before. The rest of the bag including the creed seems ok, but we've never seen the style before either.

Below is a creed from a Document Bag that was posted either here or at Ebay from around 1987, and except for showing a bit of wear and tear, the creed and the serial number fonts are identical and were stamped by the same stamp. Yours was obviously made when the stamp was much newer and hadn't had any damage or repairs.
Thank you, I love it!
