Comments: Creed verbiage is unusual "glove tanned Leather" as well as the "3" instead of a factory code letter.

Thank you!:smile1:
The bag appears authentic. It was made in 2001 in China so it isn't vintage. The wording is the more modern wording. I don't believe the strap with the dogleash clips was made by Coach. The original strap is the one with lobster clips.

I wouldn't expect a bag this new to have the dowel rolled towards the back.

(Having a terrible posting today, sorry)

I believe this to be a pre re-release Nottingham (?), in hunter green. It has a push lock. Will you please be so kind as to authenticate this bag for me?

Thanks!

The interior creed was taken with flash. I apologize for photo quality.

I thought it was and everything about it appears authentic, but I have never seen a bag that the creed has "glove-tanned leather" it is always "glove-tanned cowhide" And it is has the older style creed numbering except the "3" is listed where there is usually a factory code letter. The extra strap is definately not authentic as the metal is not brass.

They updated the style numbers for some of the classic styles but not for others. The Willis is still 9927 on Coach.com. I've seen some newer creeds on classic bags that have an extra zero in the style number but not until about 2005.

I have some 2001 classic bags that have the old wording but they weren't made in China.
And the zipper is nylon
They started using nylon zippers inside some of the classic bags around 1999, and in the Lightweights even sooner.

The "glove-tanned leather" versus "glove-tanned cowhide" is alright? the newer Willis made after 2005 with the extra 0 have "glove-tanned cowhide" because I compared it to an authentic purchased from Coach classics line.

I don't think that is a problem. You can expect different wording from different plants in different years. I don't personally own anything made in this factory for comparison but if it weren't authentic, I would expect to see other problems with the bag. I found another Willis made in the same factory in the same year that has the same wording: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Willi...886?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item23352537a6

Thank you so much! I had checked and didn't find one with the same verbiage.

VERY fake - run-together words "superiorcraftsmanshipand" (and there may even be a spelling mistake in there, it's hard to read), that lining was NOT used by Coach and any bag with a full C pattern on the outside should never have C or Logo lining, the Coach logo at the top of the creed isn't right, there's a serious mistake in the creed stitching, there's no serial number on the creed, and based on the other photos you posted at another site, the style itself is fake and was never made by Coach. Get your money back if you can.
