Hi Ladies..I recently picked this bag up for rehab, and while it looks fine to me wanted to get your opinion on it as you had recently found a Willis with an 'L' plant code to be fake. Just need to know for sure before wasting my time & money on rehab. Thanks for all your help!

The L plant code is valid for that month and year and the Willis looks ok.

Hi there-- I have seen a bag just like this in my local GW and while I will leave it to the sages to authenticate, I can offer that the beads on the one I saw were a mess-- coming off and threads hanging and bare spots. I think the beading is quite delicate and if you are looking for something to carry on a regular basis this might not hold up well.

It's called a Kimball Zip, style 9911 and made in 1992 or 1993. Bottle Green is also the color listed in the catalog.

Genuine Signature Beaded Tote. And yes, the beads were a BIG problem on those styles. They broke very easily (I think they were glass?) and you need to examine the bag VERY carefully. NOT recommended if you have pets who like to use your bags as toys.
