Item Name: Not sure? It feels like a lightweight

I bought this at a thrift store. Do you mind taking a look at it and letting me know if it is an authentic Coach? Thank you so much for your time!

Dimensions: 10 by 13 by 5

It looks like a Shoulder Pouch style 4025 from the lightweight line, made in the later 1980s.

In the future, please post larger photos. We need to be able to read the creed.

I may have struck gold and found two vintage Willis bags! One is black, the other is navy blue. The measurements are correct (included in the album), stitching looks good, and from my research it seems like most of the other aspects check out alright. (However, confirmation would be lovely!) My Willis Bags

They both look genuine. :smile1:
AHH!!! Thanks, Hyacinth! One thing I noticed when I hung them up a little while ago (my new closet has lots of purse hooks, so now I can display my thrifted Coach collection...even if its just for me!) and noticed the straps are two different lengths. Could it be because they're potentially from different years or factories?
Can't wait to rehab these babies, but then I have to figure out what to do with them: Do I flip them or keep them?

OMG FOACH! I'm still laughing at that one. I've not seen that term before and i love it:graucho:

LOL! In case you're interested in a bit of history on how "Foach," came about, here's an education.

Ebay has/had discussion boards similar to tpf where potential buyers could come and post questions to make sure their purchases were authentic or not. Sellers could also verify that they were going to run "legal" listings.

Well, all was well and good for years until LiveWorld took over moderating the boards. Sellers of fakes were insulted that their counterfeit and illegal items were called out as such and in order to not hurt the sensitive feelings of their wonderful *choke* sellers, authenticators couldn't use "FAKE" or "COUNTERFEIT" as adjectives to describe them.

Thus, Foach, Fouis Fuitton, Fooney and Bourke, Fermes, Fanel, etc. were born.

I used to call the fake oakleys that I would buy in NYC yearly on our high school's spring break trip foakleys. :-D

Sometimes Coach changes the standard strap length, and sometimes owners replace straps. As long as there aren't any other problems, don't worry about it.

Could someone please authenticate this Coach Leatherware bag?
From Goodwill today...
Approx. 8.75”w x 5”h x 1.75”d Strap drop 22”
Late 70's to 87 Dinky Bag #9375, yes?
I'll compare to my other Dinky's to see if I can figure out why it's stamped "irregular".
As always, thanks in advance for everything!
