Coach Ladies Shoulder Bag-Black Leather- Excellent!
Seller:Olympia500

That paper label should NEVER be anywhere on the inside of a genuine Coach. If someone put it there that was a really dumb thing to do, it doesn't belong anywhere on the leather and might be hard to remove. Those labels were only used on the boxes and more recently on the plastic bags that the bags were shipped in. The ONLY thing that should be inside an all-leather classic Coach is the creed stamp on the inside pocket. This one seems to have a stamp but I can't read it and without being able to clearly read the entire stamp and the serial number we can't authenticate it. The stamped creed and serial is very important, if the seller can send you a clear readable photo of those stamps without her fingers blocking the serial number we can take another look.

Personally the different leather grains on the bag would also bother me. I'm NOT saying that means it's fake, but Coach usually took care to match the leather grain all over the bag and that deeper pattern on the front flap and the pocket underneath the flap isn't something I'd usually want in a Coach. JMO.

Here is the listing number for other photos:

Some bags weren't stamped as deeply and others, and the creed and serial number were stamped separately. It's not unusual if they don't show the same stamping depth. I'm seeing enough wrinkling from wear along the top of the bag to make me believe the bag is as old as the stamp says it is.

The inside stamps can also show more wear than the outside if the owner wears a lot of jewelry. Rings and bracelets can add a lot of extra wear and tear when they rub or brush against any stamped areas. People tend to be a lot more careful of scratching the outside of their bags than they do the insides. And even conditioning products, assuming she used any, can keep leather stiffer than normal.

I don't see any problems in the important parts of the bag - the creed, top zipper, etc.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your help and quick reply.
Have a great day.

Please authenticate. Bought at goodwill. It is close to the same size as my City Bag in the background. Maybe a bit smaller. Thank you so much!

Hi, can you tell me if this is authentic. I got it for a really great price last minute and didn't have time to really check it out. Now that I really look at it, I realized that it doesn't have the little strip inside saying made in China or anything. I don't know if they took it out or if this one just didn't have one of those to begin with. Thank you for the help!!!

Hi there-- Can someone authenticate this bag and perhaps identify the style? I was thinking Metropolis #9087 but the front pocket seems higher up on the bag and there is no place for the key ring attachment inside.
