Thanks Hyacinth. As I thought. Some poor punter bought it. I'll report it anyway.
Is it trying to be a Pelham Zip #9958 do you think?

Yes, but the overly-long straps threw me a bit. See the ETA and photos that I added to the post.

ETA - looks like it was just removed but probably not in time to save the buyer from wasting their money on a fake.

Wondering if this ponytail scarf is authentic. It says "Dry clean" without the "only" on the tag- do authentic ones have "Dry clean only" on it?

It looks genuine.
I agree that it's fine.

I have scarves with both "dry clean" and "dry clean only." (In fact, I handwash in Woolite.)

Comment: Velour??? J7X serial prefix?

I think it was called an Ergo Satin Hobo, and it's genuine even with the mis-worded creed. Coach made a very limited line with that satin velour-type fabric and didn't have any creed stamp that fit the description so they just used a standard creed stamp. None of them fit the "rules" and most always have wonky creeds or serial numbers. Here's what little Coach "stuff" I've found.

Well I'll be ... you live and learn. Thanks Hyacinth.

The one on ebay has style no 6101 the catalogue says 6102 - another error or a slightly different style?

Comments: I have never seen a style like this. It looks like a cross between a Legacy Penny and Mini Willis. There are no creed pics...so I think it's fake. I thought that I had seen them all, but maybe, this is just a rare style?
