- strap drop = 16 (at longest)

I recently purchased this Penelope Signature Shantung (13289) on eBay. After reading some guides (post purchase), I began to wonder if it was authentic. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I also apologize for what I'm pretty sure is the worst creed photo ever ... the stamp is very flat and its next to impossible to hold the little slip pocket open in the correct light and wield a camera at the same time. Last 4 digits of the serial do look like 9893, but I can't make out more than that (even with a bright flashlight). If it's a problem for authentication, I'll try to take some clearer photos this weekend.

The pictures are ok and the bag looks genuine. I'm surprised you were able to get as much of the creed into the photo as you did.

Yes, it's a Cartwright style 4208 and from 1991 or 92.
