Hi - Got a new bunch to authenticate. I think most are good but I am iffy on the black zip top bag - the font on the serial number is too thick and the strap is weird, way too fat and something I have seen on many fakes. Notice it has a YKK zipper, and if it is fake, as I suspect, that is a good example to show that the YKK zipper rule is complete garbage.

7. This last one is an exact bag that I posted months ago, I had it in red. There was much discussion about it because of the small piece of leather covering the hardware inside
It was determined to be authentic, but no known style name or number.
Super cute!

It's hard to get a good picture of the creed in a tight bag but it's really important to see it. My guess is that she's misreading the serial number and that "O" or "0" isn't the factory code.

Suggest that she prop the bag open with a spoon or other utensil, position under a light or shine a light into the bag and try to get a picture.

I think it's fine.
She sent along a photo and the creed looks fine but I still can't see the code. I may go fir it anyway. It's only $40CAD!

Thanks for your help!

The first one is probably genuine. That M plant code in 1996 breaks every custom and rule and sometimes seems like it was in two places at once, but they all seem genuine if the fonts are right.

All J8P- serials with US creeds seem to be fake. This fake Mimosa Zip also has the elephant-skin stretch marks on the front, and like a lot of the J8P- fakes, the style wasn't even introduced until a full year later, in the Fall 1999 catalog.

Hey Ya'll…I found this Willis bag online for a great price…almost too good. Just wondering if it's authentic? Seller claims it is.

The creed number is F040-9927…she can't get a picture of the creed number but recited it by email.
$_20.JPG

It could be a made-in-China bag from 2004 but I'd need to see the creed to verify it. Zero was a valid code for one of the China plants and I have two genuine Willises from 2004 and 2005 with that plant code. One photo isn't enough to authenticate, and we always need to see creed photos.

I'd want to see more photos if I was thinking of buying it, that bag has more wear and tear than I'd expect from a 10 year old purse. I hope the inside is better than the outside.

And there's a BIG problem with the shoulder strap, it's been chopped to less than half its original size and would probably be really uncomfortable to carry with the buckle right at the top of the strap, not to mention reducing the value of the purse. If you want to carry it crossbody you'd better figure on buying a new strap which is another 20 to 40 dollars depending on quality and how well it matches the original.

Could someone please authenticate this Coach accessory?

Agenda/Address Book Cover?
Any and all info is appreciated...thanks in advance!

Looks ok to me.

BeenBurned might recognise the style
It's a looseleaf agenda/planner that's missing the calendar, address book and inserts. Those are replaceable with Coach brand items (usually at boutiques and occasionally at the outlets) or generic ones from Staples.

I'm sorry but I don't have a style number.
