Dearest whateve, you said beware L codes? Seems like most of these 9990 bags I've seen have been *7*-9990, this is L6D-9990...hmmmm!

I'm sure Whateve will chime in, but I have a feeling she meant "L" plant codes, not "L" month codes. The plant code is the last digit in the first part of the number. The month code is the first.

The Small Framed Pouch in the listing is genuine. It was introduced in Spring of 1997 but some bags could have been made in November 1996.

Can't quote all three posts on my phone, so THANK YOOOU :)
You're welcome!

This one might be the color Coach called aqua, but really looks more like mint.

Yes, I meant an L plant code.

I couldn't find anything on this specific purse anywhere. I bought it at a yard sale for what was pricey for a yard sale knockoff but a steal if it's genuine. My daughter seems to think it's real. I don't know a lot about the Coach line, so I figured it would better to come ask here.

No. B06S-10004 is the number - I got the best picture I could of the stamp but my camera doesn't like close-ups.

Dimensions are 13"L x 7"H x 5"D

Please take a look at this: M7D-9953 Helen

(The grommets on the backside of the strap are open. On my Helen the are inset into the leather and look the same from the front and back of the strap.)

Thanks. :smile1:
The bag in the listing looks fine. My Helen made in the same plant a few months before this one has the same kind of grommets.
