This is the other purse that I'm considering.

The creed is difficult to read but the seller confirmed that it is NO A0878-F10910

The seller lives very close to me so I can drive over to her place and take a look at the bag and decide then if I'd like to buy it, so there isn't the pressure of dealing with ordering online. :)

I've been looking online and found similar bags but their Serial Number is F14686? I'm assuming that this is a slightly different style?

But the Factory? Code is different, it's K1077. Am I correct in assuming that they make the same style purses in different factories in the same year? or do the letters in the first sequence of numbers mean something else?

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. I have another purse that I'm interested in I'll post it in another post.

Both this one and the one in the next post seem ok to me, but other opinions are welcome. The two different style numbers are for two different sizes.

And yes, they can make the same bag in different factories and different months. K is the month code, 10 is the year code for 2010, and 77 is the plant code.

Thanks Hyacinth! That's what I was thinking re: the different numbers.

I came across this bag in my web browsing, I HAVE to get off Kijiji!

It looks like the creed is C6E - 4417, if so I "think" it's a Pebble Leather Madison Biltmore Top Handle Crossbody Bag?

In all my searching I can't find any of these bags in black (for sale anyway.)

It says the strap is slightly damaged and requires a small repair that can be done by a shoemaker.

The Biltmore looks genuine but I don't see any sign of the long shoulder strap. It's not the kind of thing you can just replace with a standard strap either, the picture below shows how it's attached. The only thing that can replace it is probably a strap from another Biltmore.

The bag itself is about 23.5 by 21 cm so the top handle is very small.

Both look fine. It's weird you found two made in the same factory. I think some of the pictures of the blue one aren't accurate for the color. It is probably more of a navy.

I just bought this. I missed the auction at 2:00am as it was still a GSP but the buyer backed out and it was re-listed. I'd already been communicating with the seller so she agreed to let me buy it. It has a couple ink stains that I'm hoping I'll be able to remove.

Is it a Baxter? Is it authentic, please? Your opinions will be greatly appreciated as always.

In my limited experience with ink I've dunked a black bag that I didn't even know had an ink stain and a lot of it came off.....I kept dabbing it with a napkin afterwards and it kept coming off. Obviously an advantage it being black. Of course that wouldn't be the case on a lighter color bag to the same degree.
Good luck with it and please let us see it afterwards!
