I have this really cute mini cross body that I am pretty sure is authentic, but would like confirmation. And if anyone knows what it is, collection or anything?
Also, I just found a wallet that looks like it came from the same group.
The purse is about 6" x 6" x 2". Hardware on both is bronze-ish.
Thank you!
The Garcia swingpack is authentic.

The "Made in... " stamping was gradually changed on the creeds starting in 1994 and spread over the next 18 months. And the details on the leather turnlock tab were changed in the mid-90s.

Coach details change. The only time you should ever compare details like that is between two bags of the same style made in the same plant, month and year.

I do not see a problem with it.

Thank you so much!!!!! I have been wanting a black one for a LONG time :) And that is good to know that the stamping was changed, and the details were changed too. That's why you ladies are the experts :)

Oh boy!
I would not know where to start with this bunch...lol.
Do you think anyone would DARE to bid?

Thank you so much!! When her listing was taken off, she accused me of reporting it!! Saying she is a great and experienced seller! Ugh. I did not want to get into a fight with her (she seems aggressive!) so I denied it. Probably a bad thing to do. She said she jus contacting ebay and is going to try and get it relisted!! So watch out for her! Thank you guys!!

If there's been more than a few posts between your original one and a later post referring back to it, it might be good if you repost the link to your original post. It makes it a lot easier to watch for relists. Four days may not seem like much but there have been 77 posts since then.

Comment: I won this overnight. Please tell me its authentic

I really want to urge extreme caution when serial numbers from the mid to late 1990s starting with month code "J" are involved. There are just too many fakes with that month code, and the fakes are, for the most part, too accurate to risk it.

One thing that bothers me is that style wasn't introduced until early Fall 1997, not early Fall '96 like the serial indicates. But I'm worried about the serial number font. The first picture below is a fake J6D-9134, in a style that wasn't even introduced until 1999 - the font isn't exactly like the one in your bag but it's close. The second one is a genuine J6D- with the correct font.

As for the bag's details, I'm comparing it to this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Vinta...525?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item20e27dbc6d

The straps on yours are attached much further away from the middle of the bag and the turnlock tab, the bottom corners of the front panel look a bit more rounded on yours, the dowels on the tan one look thicker, and it looks like there's less movement possible in the straps because they're riveted more tightly together closer to the dowel, if that makes sense.

Here's another one similar to the tan one.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Westo...713?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item51bb945219

and a newer one but with the same strap placement as the tan and black ones
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Westo...721?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item51bb945221

Every one I've looked at so far has the same strap placement and none of them match the straps on yours, and they're all from dates much closer to the actual introduction date. I don't think yours is genuine.

Comments: I believe the seller incorrectly listed as 9826. It looks like the court bag. Is it authentic? Thanks in advance!!!!
It looks good and the style number appears to be a typo. The creed shows the correct style number.
