I think that Nordstom Rack is where my purse came from my MIL bought it. The experts will be able to look at the pictures and tell you more. The good thing is that Ebay has a buyer protection on it and since they said it was a Coach it better be or you can file a claim against them and get a refund. Sometimes they want you to return it at your expense but I tell them either they pay for return and 100% refund or they will be given a negative. I had it happen twice where Ebay gave me the item and my full money back on a shady item.

Your seller has a high feedback so I doubt she would risk a negative.

Thank you again :D I've bought a couple fakes over the years (but never Coach) so I'm glad for the protection. I thought the same thing about her feedback. So we will see...

Comments: Oh oh. I think I jumped the gun on this one. I bought it before the seller replied to my serial number question. She just sent back D1182-Z18388. Now I'm worried because even though it looked good in the pics, I've never seen a "Z" before the style number.

Your seller might have copied down the number incorrectly. You should get her to send you picture of the creed patch.

Why do all these sellers think things are a lot older than they are? With a Made in USA creed it couldn't have been made before 1988. It is from the Lightweights line. I think it is probably a small drawstring #4020 but the seller's measurements don't match exactly. It might be a really small bag.

Thank you Whateve!! I does look like the lightweight drawstring mini from the '80s. It has the cute pockets in the front. It's needs rehab, especially seeing on the strap. Would you like me to post on rehab thread?

Never base an authentication on a written statement of what the creed says. Sellers can read wrong or might have typed it incorrectly.

Without a legible picture of the creed, we can't authenticate it.

With regard to "Z" in front of the style number, that designation is stamped on creeds that were sold (by Coach) to discounters. Although Nordstrom Rack is one of those discounters with "Z" bags, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and other discounters also get them.

Threatening to neg a seller because she won't pay return shipping can get YOUR account dinged and possibly suspended.

ALthough SNAD claims require the seller to refund original shipping, return shipping is at the buyer's expense. (Often, decent sellers who take a return as a result of their own error will make the buyer whole but they aren't required to do that.)

It's considered feedback extortion to threaten negative feedback by demanding something that the seller isn't required to do.
