Curious about this. Most Coach scarves have logos in the design. This doesn't seem like a typical Coach design.
Item: Silk scarf by Coach
Number: 230985447704
Seller: photodennyzen
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230985447704&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123
I have some concerns about the scarf but I'm not comfortable about reporting it. There's no way I'd recommend bidding or buying.

1. The pattern is odd for Coach although I have seen (and have) a scarf without any other Coach marking in the pattern except for the logo (partial pic attached)
2. Although I don't know whether they exist, I've never seen a Coach scarf made in Italy. I've only seen China and Korea although they may have made them in other countries too
3. The cloth tag appears to have been attached after the fact although tags can and do fall off or one of the corner stitches can break. In this case, that doesn't appear to be what happened.
4. The shape of the cloth tag is something I've never seen of silk scarves. In fact, I have my own pictures of a hand-rolled and hand-stitched scarf and that, too has the rectangular brown tag.
5. The logo and markings on the cloth tag have the wrong font and the double border around "Coach" with the broken lines looks "off." In fact, every scarf tag I've seen has a single solid border

This is the thing that has me baffled. The "Coach" logo in the lower corner looks good -- something I've never seen. I've never seen a fake scarf with what appears to be even close to the proper font.

I hope someone else might have more knowledge of the existence or non-existence of the scarf. Again, I don't feel confident that it's authentic but not sure enough to state with certainty.

The attached picture shows a scarf without any logo or signature marking except for the Coach name.

The top looks like an authentic Companion flap if the creed says it is made in Mexico. I can't quite read it. On the second one, the font of the numbers looks off but I can't read it well enough to be sure.

The second one's fake. The shape of the M is wrong, it's actually an upside-down W and that was never used by Coach. In fact the entire font set is wrong. The serial number M4S-7414 is on my Fake Numbers List and is an invalid number since style 7414 is a Mercer Tote that wasn't even made until 1999 and would never have a 1994 date code.

Please, always check the Fakes List before buying or bidding.

I'm doing some research for some one else and all I have is this pic. Has any seen this bag before? View attachment 2191324

Any time you see the name of a Chinese company or one or more sets of "item numbers" like that in a photo it's almost 100 percent sure that the item is fake and the site is selling counterfeits (and possibly stealing your identity and credit card data).
