That's very helpful! You're my new best friend, I really appreciate the help. I will hop over to the restoration thread now, or start a new one for this bag.. How can I find out the proper name for it?
I suspect it was called the Soho Suede Slim Hobo.

ETA: I found it. It was definitely called the Soho Suede Slim Hobo. The color is camel.

Good evening!

I am still searching for my black Willis bag, but I found this and since I am not familiar with this style of Coach bag, I would appreciate feedback on its authenticity. :)

It's dimensions are as follows:

Measurements 11.5" x 11" x 3"
Straps drop 12.5"

Here are some pictures of the handbag.

Thank you, once again!

It's a Weston Shopper. It appears authentic.

I'd like an opinion on these:
seller: airjewels06
Item: Vintage Coach turnlock wristlet wallet, striped lining, black leather
# 231127846115
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...115?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35d04b0ce3
Comments: The back of the turnlock has grooves. The strap has a grommet, not like vintage straps that were usually sewn. I'm not sure about the location of the lozenge imprint.
same seller:
item: Vintage Coach makeup bag small, black leather, blue and white striped lining
# 231127880213
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...213?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item35d04b9215
Comments: The lozenge imprint looks funny and too low down.

Seller: s_trout1
Item: Vintage Coach Purple Leather Cinch Backpack #9960
# 171205562275
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...275?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item27dca58fa3
Comments: the color is a bit unusual

1- I can't comment about the turnlock, but the strap was added by one of the owners. The genuine one didn't include a strap.

2- not enough experience with those styles, sorry

3- I'm wondering a bit about that one. The shape of the flap isn't right, and the ends of the drawstring ties don't match the other pictures I have. The M code was probably ok for that year but I'm not sure about the rest of it. Check out the two genuine ones below and the shape of the flap - maybe over-stuffing might make it seem a different shape though?

The small sidepack appears authentic. The black one is probably a Kimball zip.

Thanks. I see what you mean. I can't tell if it is just overstuffed, but I can't find any others that looks the same. I also think the holes on the back for the drawstring look odd, like they weren't cut cleanly.

You're welcome! I think we are the only fast authenticators. I've had to wait days on other brands. It makes it hard to buy if you can't get an item authenticated before the auction ends.
I was checking out some other sites where you have to pay for authentications.
It seems the lowest price for a written authentication ( on letter head if you need it for a paypal dispute) is about $50. Are there any other options? I mean if I had to prove something was a fake in order to get my money refunded, why should I have to spend $50??

I thought there were some for a lot less than that. Why don't you ask in the ebay section of tpf? http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-forum/

I've used authenticate4u (paid in pounds sterling cos the exchange rate was better) and it cost £5 about $US7.50 for an email evaluation. I think they charge more for disputes but not $50!

ETA: sorry I was wrong they do charge $50 for PayPal claim (more for Hermes)
