I don't know if you're aware of this, but this buyer brought up her issues with this bag again, this time on eBay's Shoes, Purses... board on December 25th. She did not mention anything about the posts here.

Authenticity was again explained, after which she was rather soundly chastised by several posters. She did not return to the thread after that...

Just thought you might want to know.
Thanks Tenny, I had not known and was really glad to hear/read all the comments on that forum as well.
I am very grateful for the support!!

Hello, this is my first post so I hope I have filled out all the fields correctly...

Item: British Tan Leather Court bag
Listing number: 350962442718
Seller: azuremerekat
Link: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/COACH-Court-...US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item51b6fde1de&_uhb=1
Comments: Pls authenticate this bag. This is my first time bidding on a Coach item on ebay and I would like some confirmation of its authenticity for my own peace of mind. Thank you.

It's a genuine Court Bag made in 1998.

It's always a good idea to have items from that seller authenticated here since that seller usually doesn't "bother" to check as carefully as they should.

We're sorry you got stuck with one of the poisonous ones. It looks like she's slithered back into her hole now that half a dozen different people have called her bluff. Ironic too, since that same buyer who's demanding a refund for a Coach (that was genuine and exactly as described) recently as a SELLER refused to refund anything to someone who bought a USED bottle of nail polish from her that was NOT as described.http://community.ebay.com/t5/Feedback/nail-polish-not-same-color-as-one-in-store/td-p/18424133

Hope everyone reading this, especially Coach sellers, remembers to ad " TXGAL8701 " to their "special" list. Clothing buyers may want to make note of the name too.

I think it's okay. I was bothered by the whip but it looks like the MFF bags have the hanging thing on the whip.

I couldn't find any listings with good clear straight on pictures of the HAC logo but this seller has two different colors of the bag, both with the same whip:

and

This one has a slightly clearer picture.

Thank you whateve and BeenBurned. I appreciate all of your help in looking this up. I'm happy!

Hi ladies,

Please take a look at this one:

Item: coach Madison ?
Item number: 231120613959
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Madis...6metOhXjtmrTG1mWyTUk8%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
Seller: goodguyaz
Note: the creed starts with a N.

Thanks!
Also saw one bag starts with a I yesterday...must be fake then, right?
I think the bag with the N is authentic. There have been "mistakes" with N codes on Italian-made bags.

Without seeing the I bag, it's impossible to authenticate, but that too can be a legitimate Coach mistake.

The black Madison is genuine. "N" and "i" month codes were sometimes used by accident. We need photos to determine that, and none of them should ever be reported until they've been looked at here.

The first one may have shoepolish on it. I would ask.

Ask about smokefree home on them if it bothers you.

Third item photos are blurry. I would ask for crisp shots so you can see what you are getting.

(I like the middle one the best).

I've been looking for Beekman but I don't really know what to look for. Thanks in advance!

I'd reported those three fakes from manalof beginning on December 19. I was bummed when I saw that they'd been sold and crossed my fingers that the buyer hadn't paid yet.

What I would do is tell the seller that you want a full refund of every cent you paid and if she already shipped, as long as you get the cleared refund, you'll agree to refuse the package and mark it return to sender. (DO NOT REFUSE if she doesn't refund first. You'll lose a case.)

If the seller doesn't give a refund, open a dispute if you're able. I'm not sure whether you can open a case yet or whether a case can be opened on removed items.

It also won't hurt to call ebay on the phone and get it on record that the items were paid for, supposedly shipped and removed and confirmed as counterfeit.

Refer the seller, manalof here if she denies that they're fake.
So the saga continues. The key chains came the other day and I opened them. The seller contacted me back denying that they're counterfeit claiming that she purchased 1 from Macy's, 1 from either Bloomingdale's or Nordstrom and the 3rd was gifted to her. She has offered a full refund upon receipt of return. Unless I'm misinterpreting it, eBay doesn't require the return of counterfeit goods. I have no need or want of these items but I surely don't want to return them to the seller so that they can be sold again. I called eBay for clarification and couldn't get anyone to give me a solid answer. Instead, support went ahead and opened 3 not as described cases for me and instructed that I wait the 3 days then escalate the matter. A not as described case is all well and good if you bought a navy item and the seller sent a black item. I don't really think it should apply when you think you're purchasing authentic and end up getting counterfeit.

My questions are, if the seller refunds before I can escalate this case, will it still count against her? Am I obliged to return the items? Am I obliged to even communicate with the seller? I think this matter should be noted and seller should be held accountable for selling illegal goods.

Comments: other than the mising creed (shes sending me a pic) what do you think? My mom bought me this one (http://www.amazon.com/Coach-24064-M...=1388255586&sr=8-1&keywords=coach+magenta+mia) which is obviously fake and I found this one to replace. Whats throwing me off is the mismatched Cs on the right back side is this normal at all? Or could it just be angle?

First of all, why do you feel the one from Amazon is fake? And if it IS fake, your mother should demand a full refund from the seller, instead of you throwing good money after bad to replace it. Please post a clear readable photo of the creed patch and serial number of the one you already have.

I don't think it will count against the seller if she refunds before the case is escalated, but she already has had the listings removed by ebay, so they know she tried to list fakes. I believe that ebay will put selling limits on her for that. Once the case is escalated, you don't have to communicate with the seller. Before that, you are supposed to try to work with the seller before you escalate. I think you have already done that. Ebay isn't consistent on whether or not they make you return the items.
