Hi, here's a couple for your expertise. No one is bidding on the first one so I don't know if they know something I don't.

They both look fine to me. I don't remember authenticating #1 before or seeing that seller's name. It's a Beaumont satchel. I think no one is bidding because the starting bid is higher and not many people are bidding these days. The second one is a Baxter.

Thanks, whateve. You're right it does seem quiet on eBay. I have a gorgeous navy blue Baxter already, great bag. Is the Beaumont much bigger than the Baxter?

You're welcome. I'm seeing auctions for really nice bags end at crazy low prices! Too bad I don't need anything. I've never seen a Beaumont IRL. I think they are similar in size. I think the Beaumont is smaller across the bottom but wider at the top than the Baxter.

Welcome to the forum! It looks like a Willis bag, not a station bag as the seller states. It can't be authenticated without a picture of the creed, the embossed information on the inside.

(Sorry for the extra post below. I am still getting used to posting in a forum. Does this picture help? I asked the seller to e-mail it to me.)

Hi there! Someone had mentioned needing to see the stamp inside my potential handbag in order to authenticate it. Here is a picture:

And again, here is the link to the bag:

Thanks so much guys! I hope to purchase this bag this evening if it proves to be authentic. :)
The bag looks authentic. It was made in 1995, so technically isn't vintage for another year. If you want some tips on how to restore this bag, check out the rehab thread: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-clubhouse/coach-rehab-and-rescue-club-833400.html

Thanks for taking the time out to respond! :) I really appreciate it. I can wait another year for it to reach official vintage status. I will definitely check out that thread to figure out how to rehab this new bag. Very excited about finally owning a new/old coach purse!

I did a little browsing (foolish, I know) and I found this bag also. Similar to the brown bag, but in black. Hmmm. Does it look authentic? It's a bit more affordable...

I'm just curious what you search for, when finding bags at great prices! I have been looking and always quit out of frustration! :) thanks

It's completely genuine and from the Bridle line - check the creed, it doesn't say that it's cowhide. The leather is thin but the Bridle bags are structured, not soft. And read the Salearea Guide on Italian-made Coaches for more info.

Thanks Hyacinth. The diversity of Coach products never ceases to amaze me.

This is the first one I've seen that isn't black! I have the matching wallet, I think, but mine is darker and isn't as red as that one appears in the pictures. I love the two textures. The smooth leather on my wallet is nice and soft.

It's very nice and so tempting!

Lately I don't really look but I have some automatic searches set up that ebay emails me about daily. When I was seriously looking, I would pretty much look at all new listings under a certain dollar amount. You can also look at auctions that are ending soon to see if there are any auctions ending without many bids. If there is a particular style you are looking for, you can limit your search by that, but generally the best deals are on listings where the seller doesn't use a very accurate title.
