I just got this tonight as well as a wristlet. I need help with the purse, I've tried searching for it but couldn't find anything like it. Trying to make sure it is real, bought it from a local yard sale site and want to get my money back if it is fake. She listed it as being real but I want to be sure. She brought it in a bag from the Coach store which kind of raised my suspicions I guess. If I'm interpreting the numbers right this bag would be from 04 so I don't think she would have still had the bag it came home from the store in, and she was 18 at the most. I'm sorry but the bag is fake and unfortunately, based on your description of the transaction, the seller blatantly lied to you.

Thank you ladies. That was what I was afraid of. By the way what gave it away?

I contacted the person I bought it from, she's insisting that it's real and she bought it from the Coach Outlet store in Orlando FL. I called Coach and they said the number matches for a vintage signature series tie dye. I told her that I called Coach and the bag type doesn't match. She told me she would meet me on Wednesday to refund my money. Hopefully she doesn't back out of it.

She can insist she bought it from Coach till the cows come home but that bag did not come from Coach, and all that's necessary to know it's fake was a peek at the first picture. The other pictures only provide further proof that there's nothing right about it!

1. The style isn't made
2. The pattern is uncentered and misaligned
3. The serial number is invalid for this style.
4. The lining would never be on this type of bag. (Coach makes a lozenge lining but it isn't on this style and isn't thin, cheap, tacky rayon.

Honestly, Coach's totes are nothing like this one!

Feel free to refer your seller here for "enlightenment!" Perhaps she'll recall where she really purchased it.

If the wristlet came from the same seller, I recommend that you post pictures of that too. If she claims it came from the same "Coach outlet" as the bag, it's probably fake too.

What do you mean by the two sets of numbers? All Coach bags that have numbers have two sets - a series before the dash and a series after the dash. This bag looks authentic.

I also just purchased a persimmon LIndsey from ebay (different seller) and will be posting pics of her here once she arrives. Fingers crossed she isn't a fake!

Please request a clear picture of the creed. I don't see any problems with the bag assuming the creed looks good. The color is amazing.

This Copley looks fine. The Italian factory was one that mistakenly used the "I" month code.

Found one on ebay this morning that was called a Hamptons Small Zipper Pouch...does that sound right? Would love to know style number and age if possible.

That's not a "factory" code twice.

The first "F" is part of the date code and indicates that the bag was made in June. The second "F" (in front of the style number) means that it's MFF.

It's authentic and leather slim duffle sounds good to me.
