Interesting. While the original post and nasty followup from bulldoggermom was removed, I just want to comment on what she said.
Evidently, she called Coach and read them the serial number. What she might have been told was that the serial number is valid for a particular style of bag but without seeing pictures, there would have been no way for experts to authenticate, much less Coach employees who aren't trained to do much more than answer phones.
If bulldoggermom would like to read some of the posts on the answers to authenticity questions thread, she'll realize that a legitimate serial number doesn't mean that the bag it's on is genuine.
She obviously wouldn't recognise factual information if someone branded it on her eyeballs. And she's apparently ALWAYS right. (Wonder if she's related to the owners of Amy's Baking Company?)
Just goes to prove the old saying: "Better to say nothing and just be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt".
