Other opinions are welcome but I believe that listing is authentic. The style is a well-faked and common fake style but there's a particular detail on that bag in the listing that I've not seen on fakes and haven't known the counterfeiters to copy correctly.

There's almost no way to tell with that style because it was very well faked. But one detail in the creed stamping makes me lean toward Fake, so if BeenBurned and I disagree you can see how hard it is to spot fakes in these styles. It should NOT be reported to Ebay but I personally wouldn't buy it. But I think I know the detail BB is referring to. It's a very hard call.

If Hyacinth and I don't agree, you're definitely better off not purchasing this bag.

As both of us have said, the style is scarily well-faked and the counterfeiters are getting better by the day.

I think what you're seeing is the end of the d-ring. In the next picture, #6, the clip is connected to it.

The seller doesn't understand serial numbers. The style number is 9907 and it's a genuine Crosby Bag from 1992-93.

It could be a Marketing Tote style 9665, Early to mid-1980s.

Production mistake? It looks like the two serial numbers are different. Maybe that's why there's an X in ink above one of the pockets. I don't see any details that would make me think it's fake but I'm sure you've seen more of these than I have.

Thank you whateve. I was wondering what that imprint was as well. It's hard to make out the second letter. At first I thought it was a horizontally inverted E.
