Comments:

The bag in the listing is fake.

1. The bag doesn't match the style (10342).
2. The lining is incorrect for the style (10340, 10338 and 10342 should have legacy stripe lining)
3. The creed stitching is a mess

This is what 10342 should look like:

The bag it's trying to copy is either 10338 or 10340, depending on the measurements.

The first picture is 10338 and the second is 10340:

Sorry. I goofed. The bag isn't trying to be one of those pictures I posted.

I'm not sure of the correct style number or whether the fake is a combination of details from different styles.

11501 has a leather flap.

or if it's 41305, which appears to be a different shape:

Any way you look at it, the listing is a fake.

Hi, ladies! Can you check this duo on eBay. I am amazed after returning two bags with mismatched hardware how many of them are out there.

Seller: halfpriceoutlets
Item no. 261298939853
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261298939853

Seller: sophistifashions
Item no. 151121165699
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261298939853

The first one is trying to be like a genuine Legacy Large Shopper but the seller apparently tried to disguise the different hardware colors by showing only long shots of the bag and strap hardware. The serial number stamping doesn't match the stamps for either the C or the G plant, and the serial prefix E7C- should look like the photo below.

The second seller's Toolhaus record speaks for itself.

ETA - the bag from SOPHISTIFASHION is of course FAKE. How ANY experienced Coach seller even with a record like hers of selling bags that probably should have been left in the dumpster could ever thing that a serial prefix "N2J-" and a Made in the US creed could be genuine boggles the mind. Please report.

Hi! I need help authenticating this bag I got from a vintage shop. No ebay link, but I'll provide pictures of the creed, tag, and the top view of the bag. I don't know the name of the style either. I'm not sure if it's authentic as there's a little X at the lower left Coach logo on the creed. Thanks in advance!1385231_10201615763068602_282300414_n.jpg

Correct, seller's name is singular. She does have quite a history.

It's a genuine Equestrian Compartment Bucket

Thanks. Wanted to confirm before I reported but it's already gone.

Both reported.

I know there is no creed, but did they ever make a bag that looked like this? There seem to be so many things wrong with it. Should it be reported?

The "male" part of the turnlock looks too round and seems like it has a dimple in the middle - no x-rated jokes please! :D

I'd rather not report without a creed pic though, the turnlock could have been replaced.

Thanks. It looks like a station bag but it has a back pocket, a top seam, and the leather wrapping around the handle isn't done the way a station bag would be. The leather loops that attach to the rings on the strap don't look like Coach either.
