Hi ladies! Am considering getting a coach portfolio planner and am interested in this particular item. Am considering an offer in the range of USD35. Is this a reasonable price for a pre-owned? This is my very first planner so am not familiar with the prices and model. Thanks!

Item: coach leather portfolio day planner
Number: 271270941174
Seller: dck213
Link: http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/27127094...FFX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1427.l2649#ht_500wt_922

It's authentic, style 8051.

As for price, we really can't advise on that because an item is worth what a willing buyer wants to pay for it. That portfolio came out probably over 10 years ago, as evidenced by the velcro PDA/palm pilot holder. Thus, if it's something you're looking for, there aren't too many around to compare prices.

To get an idea of what they sell for, you can check the completed and sold listings using planner, portfolio, and other similar key words. You might get lucky and find another of the same but even if not, you can compare similar items.

Please authenticate this. I wanted to buy it, but someone got there first.
The creed looks wrong - 3 letters in prefix?
Thank you.

Item: Lavender Coach Trail Bag
Ebay listing : 271282372920
Seller: kseliga0508

That prefix definitely would make me hit the Back button.
In addition to the purple fake, seller kseliga0508 has this current listing for another fake. As a new seller, she's getting off on the wrong foot. Feel free to report both!

And the creed from the bag:

What is wrong with the creed please? Trying to learn.
Both listings have been removed. The creed posted by BB has a prefix beginning with R. The first letter of a creed made after 1993 stands for the month of manufacture, starting with A for January and continuing through to M for December, with the letter I not used. So any creed beginning with any letter after M in the alphabet is invalid.

Additionally the creed with 3 letters in the prefix is invalid because the second digit must always be numeric since it stands for the year of manufacture (there are exceptions when factories made mistakes.)

You can learn about creeds by reading the Salearea guides. http://search.reviews.ebay.com/members/salearea_W0QQcpnameZmembersQQprZsaleareaQQuqtZg

The first belt (red) is authentic.

I'm not comfortable with the second one for a few reasons. The quality looks really sloppy, the stitching is quite crooked and the stamps look off. Though I can't find a specific item for style number 107 (as indicated on the belt), the 1XX series of styles seem to be hats. The "male part" that goes through the holes in the belt (technical language that I don't know the name for) extends further toward the leather loop than it should.

I don't believe that one to be authentic.

Thank you! :D
You're welcome.

Please check out this "stewardess" bag .
It's unusual because of the ID pocket instead of the under flap slip pocket.
Also there is an American Airlines symbol impressed onto the leather strap.
The creed looks great. Could this be a really early version of the bag or a sample or prototype? Authentic or not? TIA~

It's authentic. It was made specifically for American Airlines.

Hi I found this post while trying to find out more about authentic vintage coach handbags.
I'm in log with his "doctor speedy" type handbag and was wondering if it was real?
It's on etsy
Seller: caffarellajen
Dimensions: Measures approx
11 inches in length
6.5 inches in height
4 inches in depth
Says it's a Bonnie cashin
Link: http://www.etsy.com/listing/161540534/stunning-authentic-vintage-coach-bonnie?ref=shop_home_feat
It isn't a Bonnie Cashin because any bag that has a creed was made after she left Coach. It looks like a Madison satchel 9725. According to my records, this style wasn't made before 1986 and Bonnie Cashin left Coach in 1974. I wonder how the seller knows the zipper is solid brass. The bag looks authentic.

Thank you! :) is it a worth it buy? (Very new to this, found it was beautiful and the vintage appeal was pretty cool :))
