Hyacinth, while a agree with your assessment of the bag itself and the seller's non-use of "Coach," do you not think that showing the Coach dustbag in the first picture is implying that it's Coach and is a bit misleading?

And in this listing, the seller doesn't use Coach either, yet the picture (authentic or not?) is a "Coach" dustbag.

http://www.ebay.ph/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221284019759#ht_632wt_1139

As with so many listings on ebay.ph (Philippines), they don't state brand names, pluralize brand names (Coachs, Guccis,) or they abbreviate the brands (BB for Burberry, GG for Gucci, etc) to stay under the radar.

This particular listing for a Sportcoach bag from seller snakewater2013 may be "legal" as far as not being counterfeit but other listings are not made by the designers whose names are on them. None of snakewater2013's listings use brand names though most have brand markings/labeling/logos.

Personally, I wouldn't do business with snakewater2013.

I was so focused on the bag that the dustbag didn't even register.

Good afternoon!
Back with some more goodies or baddies. Please authenticate.

1.The first is IMHO a definite fake Willis but I want some back up so I can return it to the seller I bought it from. It came in a group of 7 bags. Sorry for the photos,in actuality the creed is so faint it is barely legible but I can def see that it says No 22096-08 DUH!
Otherwise its amazing how good the bag looks (good as in genuine).

2.The second is a small top handle pouch in white nylon. It looks perfect to me but I have never seen one of these nylon bags with a creed and full serial number (it was made in Turkey)

3. This last Hippie Crescent Saddle bag I purchased on ebay but I saw and won it in the last few minutes and did not have time to ask for a photo of the creed. So now I got it and have uploaded pics of the creed.

The details on the Willis are pretty good, but that number is always fake. Coach never used a numbering format like that.

The font and the prefix of the number on the saddle bag have been seen on many fakes. I've never seen an authentic one that looks like that. The bag is probably fake.

Thanks whateve -
By the way I was looking through other listings on ebay for the same style and found this:
Listing # 200961812228
seller: greatitems_allthetimes_2347

The font and all is exactly the same as on my bag. So is this a fake also?

Yes, it's fake. Did you notice the grommets are silver but the rest of the hardware is brass? We see that on many fakes. Anything with a K3H prefix is very likely to be fake.

I did not notice that, but in a pinch I know that I did use a replacement strap with silver hardware on a bag that had gold hardware, I agree that the font looks off and there is no dash between the sets of numerals.

One of the posters here said that counterfeits aren't illegal in the Philippines, so even though they're against Ebay's corporate rules, apparently Ebay.ph doesn't make any effort to remove them.

Apparently since the item isn't listed as available to US buyers, Ebay members here can't report it. Any Ebay.PH members are urged to do so since it's NOT a genuine Coach and any Philippines resident who buys it is getting cheated since Coach never made purses in Korea. There are many things wrong with it - fake style, wrong inside zipper pull, that pebbled leather style should always have a lining, fake and much too short serial number, and of course the Made in Korea stamp.

ooohhh, thank you Hyacinth. now i know that's the reason behind it. thanks experts.

Hi ladies! Am considering getting a coach portfolio planner and am interested in this particular item. Am considering an offer in the range of USD35. Is this a reasonable price for a pre-owned? This is my very first planner so am not familiar with the prices and model. Thanks!
