Thanks. The P code along with a few others may have been used for more than one plant. Most of the ones I've seen have been from 1998 or later. There's only been one earlier one, from 1994. I'm just not comfortable authenticating a highly-faked style like that based just on a plant code that we don't have a lot of evidence on. I just know I wouldn't bid on it.
"I rarely see one that I know 100% is authentic."
Neither do I.
I'm willing to bet that if Poshmark is willing to make it easy for those who know brands to report and get listings removed, there are probably some of us who might be willing to help.
I will say that I've donated my time to another not-recommended website and they made it impossible for authenticators to help. Their sellers didn't appreciate having their listings removed as fake and according to admin there, those are their "valued sellers" and shouldn't be insulted.
Next is a satchel I got at the thrift store. It needs serious help, so I would like to know it's legit before I invest the time, (while I can still return it). It measures roughly 11x7x3.5. Please let me know if you need additional pics of hardware.
hi again, experts! may i know if this authentic please? it measures approximately 11 x (7center)(8sides) x 4.5 inches. a million thanks in advance ladies!
Hi, I have a few items that I need authentication help.
The first is a skinny case. The leather looks warped and feels really thick, but I know that can happen if it's ever gotten wet. I got it for $3, so I'm not out much if it's fake.
It looks ok but we'd need to see the other end of the bag and zipper to be able to figure out what style it is.
Here's the zipper. It has one of those really heavy duty Talon zippers on it. Both ends of the bag look identical. I will grab another picture shortly.
Thanks for the extra photos. It's a genuine Madison Satchel from the mid-1980s, style number 9725.
I can't stop buying Patricia's. I don't have any D plant bags from 95 so fig'd I needed to check her out.
Dimensions: 11w x 9h x 4d. Strap drop about 22"
Creed says D5D 9951
