Thanks to both of you!! When I look at the 2 bags side by side they seem really similar in shape, etc. and the turnlock area is more similar than the photos make them seem so I'm not sure if my photo angles are affecting that part or what, but the "No." part of the USA bag does seem strange!! And that's the only bag I've had for a couple of years now, thinking it was real LOL. I'd assumed I'd submitted that one ages ago, but apparently I didn't now that Ive double=-checked.
You're welcome. The turnlock padding is one of the areas the counterfeiters screw up on most often. I considered that your photo angles might have made it look worse than it was, but it still didn't seem to have the right amount of curve and definition. The padding should follow the curve of the top of the turnlock. Plus you can see that the sides of the turnlock go right to the edge of the stitching, while in the authentic bag there is space on both sides.

Really cute but when asked for style number (not a wristlet) The reply was that this was one of the authentic without a creed with the made in China tag "you always see in these". Never heard of them not having a style number for a full bag:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321130778191&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123

Any help appreciated. I love purple but don't want to buy a fake.
It's fine. This bag is a crossbody, another style of smaller items that may or may not have creeds. And those that do have creeds, may or may not have serial numbers.

Thanks. I have 4 bags and they all have creeds so I was unsure (also she spelled coach wrong in 3 of her listings - silly, but seemed odd to me) Thanks again. I'll take another look at it.
I responded to the authenticity question before reading ahead so I apologize for the second response.

In looking at the seller's other listings - current and completed, all look good. My guess is that the seller hit listing restrictions and did the misspellings in order to be able to list the Coach items. What she should have done was waited on some of them until she was able to list correctly, but it's a tactic some sellers use to stay under the radar.

Again, I don't see any authenticity problems with any of her items even though there could be ethics issues for those who see it that way.

Item: pink, signature hobo.
Link: N/A it's poshmark again (ik ik)
Comments: another one claiming its from the coach store but they wouldn't sell a bag with a crooked creed?

Why wouldn't they? If the people in the plant knew they'd be losing Coach's business in 2005, they probably didn't care if a few crooked creeds made it out the door. Here's another one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-6351-...558?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item27d33c149e

That style HAS been faked, in fact here's one of them:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Purse-/140987121063?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item20d37cbda7

but the pink one seems genuine. That has to be a First for a Poshmark authentication here. More opinions are welcome, of course.
LOL! I agree that this authentic Coach bag on Poshmark is an exception! Bravo for a Poshmark seller with a genuine Coach!

I am trying to sell this purse.

COACH CHELSEA BROWN OPTIC SIGNATUREHOBO
ItemspecificsStyle #10990. MSRP $278.

However its authenticity is being questioned. Can someone shed some light into these issues that are being questioned? Thank you so much for your time :D

Authenticity questions:
Coach patterns never overlap their emblems (C)
So is this not authentic?
No... Not at all- but it's still pretty cute ;) Looking at their pattern is a great way to tell if they are authentic.
Typically the C's will be next to each other- you can actually pull up pictures on the coach website to see the difference. There are a couple other sites that can describe the difference but the pattern is the one that's most noticeable. I started researching when I purchased a coach from a consignment shop.... ;)

It's Coach's optic signature pattern, specifically designed with varying sizes and overlapping patterns of Cs.

The bag is authentic.

ETA: Are you not 100% sure of the authenticity of your own bag? In the future, you need to confirm authenticity before listing any item. It's illegal (by law) and disallowed by ebay policy to list any item that you don't KNOW with 100% certainty is authentic.

In this case, the bag is genuine, but in the future, do your due diligence beforehand.

ETA again. I re-read your post and I'm inferring that a buyer is telling you that the pattern isn't correct. Please refer the buyer here:

This is Coach's stock photo of that bag.

I didn't have any doubt about the bag being a fake since I have it on me and have inspected carefully. I did my research, however other people where questioning the authenticity of the purse and posting comments that are visible to other possible buyers, and this was the only way I could prove to them that it was real. Its not the same to hear it from the person selling the purse than form a website full of experts that have nothing to gain from confirming authenticity. Once again thank you for your time you made my day! :D

You're welcome.

Too many "experts" get their information from the proliferation of inaccurate guides permeating the internet.

Again, I hope the person who advised you comes here and if she has further questions, she's welcome to post her concerns.

Welcome!

#1, 3 and 4 look fine.

#2 is probably okay though I can't read the creed.
