Hello,
I was looking for a Weston Shopper and saw this. " handcrafted in Nexico" does not look authentic to me.
Vintage Coach Weston Black Leather Excellent Vintage Condition 9021

seller : jlj5366
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...217?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item338261ac11

Could you please advise.
Thank you
I don't see any problems with it. I have a Weston Shopper and the details match. N was a valid plant code for Mexico and the creed font and spacing matches other creeds I've seen from the Mexico plant.

The Hungary bag is fine. The other one worries me a bit. The padding over the turnlock looks like it might be the wrong shape.

There aren't any other Coach listings starting with H8L- for comparison, but the padded part of the turnlock tab looks wrong to me too. And the N in "No" looks even worse.

Thanks to both of you!! When I look at the 2 bags side by side they seem really similar in shape, etc. and the turnlock area is more similar than the photos make them seem so I'm not sure if my photo angles are affecting that part or what, but the "No." part of the USA bag does seem strange!! And that's the only bag I've had for a couple of years now, thinking it was real LOL. I'd assumed I'd submitted that one ages ago, but apparently I didn't now that Ive double=-checked.

Really cute but when asked for style number (not a wristlet) The reply was that this was one of the authentic without a creed with the made in China tag "you always see in these". Never heard of them not having a style number for a full bag:

Any help appreciated. I love purple but don't want to buy a fake.

It's not only wristlets that don't have creed patches. I'm not sure where you're getting that information, but it's wrong. To quote from a well-known fake serial numbers guide, and to repeat what we've said here many times:
"It's never a good idea to buy a "Coach" unless the seller shows clear readable photos of the creed patch inside the bag, if it has one - smaller "accessory" items like some Swingpacks, Pouches and Crossbody mini bags may OR may not have creed patches and the patches may or may not have serial numbers".

The bag you're asking about is a CROSSBODY - style #45644, SOHO SCARF PRINT FLAP CROSSBODY. There are several others listed right now on Ebay and none of them have creed patches.

I'll let someone else comment on authenticity, but here's a part of the page from a Coach Factory online sale from August 2011 showing that style.

Thanks. I have 4 bags and they all have creeds so I was unsure (also she spelled coach wrong in 3 of her listings - silly, but seemed odd to me) Thanks again. I'll take another look at it.

Item: pink, signature hobo.
Link: N/A it's poshmark again (ik ik)
Comments: another one claiming its from the coach store but they wouldn't sell a bag with a crooked creed?

Why wouldn't they? If the people in the plant knew they'd be losing Coach's business in 2005, they probably didn't care if a few crooked creeds made it out the door. Here's another one:

That style HAS been faked, in fact here's one of them:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Purse-/140987121063?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item20d37cbda7

but the pink one seems genuine. That has to be a First for a Poshmark authentication here. More opinions are welcome, of course.
