We can't authenticate from just one photo. These look like a style Coach makes but in order to know if they are authentic we need to see more pictures, including the lining, creed (the leather patch inside that shows the number) and hardware.

Thank you so much BeenBurned for helping me with the wallet I bought for my husband, which turned out to be a fake.
The seller said that he brought it from Odel plc they are a large store selling rather high end designs and he finds it difficult to believe they sold him a fake.
I have sent him a reply saying I want a refund and have given my reasons why.


I have purchased this wallet for my daughter a few weeks back and was wondering if you could please Authenticate it for me please.

1. I don't recommend seller #1, gikabite as the seller doesn't use her own pictures. Pictures #2 and 3 are stolen from Coach and other online sites and picture #1 was stolen from this post on TPF: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/september-2011-coach-purchases-706408.html#post19986670

Unless the seller is the PF poster, it's not recommended to buy from sellers who doesn't show the actual item you will receive. Pictures in other listings are not in the same photographing style as pic #1.

2. A picture of the creed is needed.

The daisy zip wallet is authentic.

Regarding the fake wallet, I don't know what Odel Plc is but I googled and they refer to getting their items from various suppliers. Based on the wallet, they Coach isn't a supplier of theirs so they aren't an authorized Coach retailer.

Unfortunately, many thrifts, consignment and other types of stores sell items they aren't familiar with and whether it's knowingly or not, they often have fakes.

If you mean the "i" month code, that happened sometimes on genuine bags from plants outside the US. The rest of the bag seems ok.

I am putting up 2 willis bags here that I am sending to a friend who happens to be "coach" knowledgeable -- I don't want to look like an idiot if they aren't good.... since I am not as familiar with "L" plant codes and definitely not familiar with Hungary bags. First is the USA with "L" plant:
Creed is H8L 9927
Dimensions are 10 x 9.5 x 3 with strap as photo'd of 22.5"

Notice the leather dowel cap is trying to work its way off but the other side is fine. (Just referring back to a previous Willis where we'd discussed that these are usually on really well but I've had a couple of bags with leather end pieces that came off at least one side of the bag.) DARN the one that came up is the blurrier one. I can post a clearer one but it won't fit in this posting.

The Hungary bag is fine. The other one worries me a bit. The padding over the turnlock looks like it might be the wrong shape.

There aren't any other Coach listings starting with H8L- for comparison, but the padded part of the turnlock tab looks wrong to me too. And the N in "No" looks even worse.

Thanks so much. I did find the "I" troubling. I didn't know it could be used to identify non-US plants.

Just hoping for a little help in authenticating this one. Any help is much appreciated. Serial number inside reads 029-0026. No hang tag. Creed says 'Made in the United States'. Thank you!
