Hi ladies can someone please help me with this?

I need a few everyday bags and came across these vintages, are they real?

Here's a Coach court bag
Listing number 261277523829
Seller amioblue42
Link http://www.ebay.ca/itm/261277523829?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

And here's a Coach Willis bag
Listing number 190895077867
Seller aerin8574
Link http://www.ebay.ca/itm/190895077866?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Which do you prefer? Thanks :D
The Willis can't be authenticated without a picture of the creed. The court bag is authentic. Personally, I like the look of the court bag, but it is slightly smaller than the Willis.

Could someone please authenticate this for me? I almost didn't buy it because it has no creed number, but then I remembered reading here that some styles don't.

It's multi colored leather and measures about 9 inches high by 13 inches across by 3 1/2 to 4 inches deep. The buckles are stamped on the back with ZJ1640.

If you need more pictures just let me know. Thanks.

It's only smaller accessory-type bags that sometimes don't have creeds or numbers. A full-size bag like this one should always have one.

Can someone please authenticate this Coach bag?
Found at Goodwill today - needs some serious TLC!
Approx. 8.5"w x 5"h x 2"d Strap drop 7.5"
2005 Demi something-or-other #1491? Was this a limited edition? Is there an official name?
A listing on ebay says MSRP was $228, is that about right?
Lining really is more lavender...it's a little overcast today and came out blue-ish.
Any and all info is greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance!

It wasa called a Signature Applique Demi, from the "Bubbles" line. ;)

I agree that the bag looks fine.

If you purchase for yourself and paint or treat the stains, be careful what you use. Use caution if it's something that might stain your clothing. If down the road, you decide to resell it, be sure to disclose that it was painted. Even if it doesn't show as having a treatment, buyers need to be made aware.

Regarding authenticity, if there were doubts, we would let you know. TPF's authentications, although made by knowledgeable members (as long as the person authenticating has proven herself) are usually stated as "opinions" since this is a volunteer service. You get accurate advice but in order to limit liability, we'll often say "looks fine," "pictures show authentic," or something along those lines.

You can feel comfortable purchasing as long as you receive the bag shown in the pictures.
thank you! im sorry for any mis-communication! thank you for your time for authenticate

Thanks whateve;25323366 :) i agree, I like the court bag more too. The proportions just seem to work better!

I have this listing here for another Court bag. Can you teach me a thing or two? On a glance I would say this is real, but the imprint on the creed (like you said to look at to determine authenticity) looks faint and not as deep as others. I'm still learning how to authenticate since I'm new to Coach... am I right or wrong here?

Thanks ladies!

Ok so I'm clearly obsessed with vintage Coach bags...

Is it suspicious that an ebay seller would NOT show a picture of a creed tag? I mean, if I was a seller with a truly authentic bag, I'd show the creed to make sure I sell my bag. But if they don't...isn't that a red flag? Worse part is I can't even ask the seller a question - is that strange?

Anyway, there is a picture of the creed showing, but nothing clear - I guess that means this cannot be authenticated? :( No...

A faint creed is not an indication of being fake. Some counterfeits have creeds that are too deeply imprinted. It's more important to look at the font of the letters and numbers, and the wording of the creed. It should be consistent with other creeds made around the same time at the same plant. Of course, it is even more important that the details of the bag are correct for the style. This one looks authentic.

One thing to note about court bags is that the older ones have a non-adjustable strap of about 44 inches. Later versions have an adjustable 48 inch strap. It's something to consider if you need a longer drop.

It can't be authenticated without the creed, unless we see something that would make it obviously fake. I wouldn't assume the seller is purposely hiding it, although I did notice that all her other Coach listings, active and completed, show creeds, so that does make me wonder. It is a little tricky getting a picture of the creed on a court bag because it can't be pulled out of the bag. For the last few months, when someone tries to list a Coach bag, there is a reminder from ebay to include a picture of the "storypatch", so I don't know why so many sellers still neglect to do so. There are plenty of listings that show the creeds, so unless the bag is rare, it must hurt the sales of those sellers who don't show the creed.

I have no idea why you can't ask the seller a question, unless you are on her blocked bidders list or you live in a country she doesn't ship to.

Welcome to the obsession!
