The first one seems ok.

I can't recommend the second seller. Just in the last month she's listed three or four fakes. There was one reported in the Hall Of Shame thread on August 18, and a relist reported on the 25th

I DON'T recommend that seller TEXASBAGLADY2 and won't authenticate any of her items except to point out the fakes.


The first bag on Etsy seems ok. The second one needs a creed photo to authenticate.

Please read the first post in this thread about the format we ask everyone to use when requesting authentications. Just one of the reasons is because it makes it possible to search for sellers' names who should be avoided, like TEXASBAGLADY2

Thanks! Oh my gosh, I had NO IDEA that the second seller was so terrible! I was in love with the green color of that bag, and so wanted it to be authentic... but I'm not going to bid on a bag from someone who is so blatant with fakes.

Do either of the bags from etsy look ok?

Please wait for other opinions on this one. The horse and carriage logo is upside down and although this might be a legitimate Coach mistake, I'd like to hear someone else confirm.

Personally, unless I were purchasing for my own use without any plans to ever resell, even if authentic, I'd avoid it.

On style 46606, the horse and carriage is supposed to be facing this way. Here is a listing with Coach's pictures of it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Madis...T-/200958268924?pt=Wallet&hash=item2eca0bd5fc
Although, this isn't the same style, it is possible they made one like this.

There is another style, 43211, in which the horse and carriage is the other direction, proving Coach isn't consistent.

That one on ebay looks exactly the same to me as the one I posted (except the colour of course) - is it not?

I think that's how that style is supposed to be. There's another one listed here but the seller doesn't list the style number:

I wish the Carriage emblem on the purple one was clearer. Not sure if it's the lighting but the second horse is almost invisible, and the emblems don't seem to be mounted to the leather at the same depth when you compare the purple and black ones.

EDITED TO ADD - I just saw post 5005 and they look like the same style to me too, along with the one I mentioned in this post.

I've asked for some closeups of the horse logo, Ive got my fingers crossed because I really like the colour.
