Yes. Besides the incorrect style number, the hippie style it seems to be copying wasn't introduced until 2000.Should I report it?

Should I report it?
Yes. The creed stamping "burnt-in" color is completely wrong, the style # doesnt match the bag and belongs to a Maggie Duffle, and the year code "7" is from 2 years before that Hippie Flap style was even made.
Okay will do.Yes. Besides the incorrect style number, the hippie style it seems to be copying wasn't introduced until 2000.
The stewardess looks fine. Two bags to look at when you get a chance. These are the seller's photos and aren't great. First is a "city bag" second a stewardess. I'm most concerned with the city bag, but I'll wait to see what you guys think. TIA

I'm not sure about the City Bag either. The only comparison I have from the G plant is a 1998 bag, and there are a few small differences in the serial number.
The Stewardess seems ok, but more opinions are welcome for both.
It's got my hackles up to be sure but I can't put my finger on why exactly. The seam above zipper doesn't match my others and the back plate on the front trim for the turn lock is the 3d one that I see on a lot of fakes. However, one of the teeth are broken off the from plate, so it may be a replacement.

I'm also a bit worried about the inside - the inside pocket doesn't seem to match the rest, and the pocket zipper seems awfully light for a tan bag. But maybe that's just a trick of the lighting.
In my opinion, any buckle that says "solid brass" on anything later than the early 80's indicates that bag is fake. I've never even seen it on any 80's bags, only 70's, and you can tell it is solid brass because they are really heavy. Here's the seam. .. farther apart and different color and the buckle has "solid brass" which I don't see on my bags after the late 80s/early 90s.
Can you post your G plant creed so I can add it to my files? Thanks.I'm not sure about the City Bag either. The only comparison I have from the G plant is a 1998 bag, and there are a few small differences in the serial number.
