Vintage Coach Beekman Black Leather Cross Body/Shoulder Briefcase # 5266

Item #:321174795486

Seller: jcla8056

Ebay link: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/seller?cmd=SELLER&sellerId=jcla8056&itemId=321174795486
The link doesn't work. Here is the correct link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321174795486

The bag in the listing is authentic, but it isn't vintage. It was made in 2001.

Me again - the seller says there is no creed, is this possible?

Title: Retro Coach Shoulder Bag
Seller: lien1
Item: 620922530 (trademe.co.nz)

Thanks.

If a full-size Coach bag was made before Coach started using creeds (mid to late 1970s maybe?) then yes it's possible. And this one looks like one of the early Hippie Flap bags (not a City Bag as the seller states) and could definitely be from that time period.

More opinions would be welcome.

Hope I did this right. Could you take a look at this and let me know if its authentic? Prices vary wildly on briefcases on eBay but this one looks like its in great condition. Auction ends in a few hours. Thanks for your help! There are a couple of other items she has I may be interested in but ill post those later since they close in several days

That one seems genuine.

Item: Legacy East West Market Tote 9847 (China 2002)
Seller: Savers
Comments: Please give an opinion about authenticity, thank you!
TWINS!! love it... isn't it crazy how thrift shops work? I usually see Various icky Coaches for $20 plus and then there's the one like this, back on a regular purse selling rack for $6 as if they thought it was a fake! LOL. Congrats on a great find. I love the leather on this line of bags!

Hi, can someone give me some input on this listing? The lining is throwing me off, because I thought bags from the serial number era would have no lining. Is it real?

Desc. Coach genuine black leather shoulder bag

Seller: retrochicbags

Thanks, as always
It's an authentic Sheridan. The Sheridans and Dakotas were made in the early 90's and they had lining. Some of them don't have any numbers at all.

Please authenticate this Coach Court! It's my first time buying vintage.

Item: Coach Court. The creed # is E9G-9870

Seller: shelbyslittlestore

Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/141020543955?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Comments: I noticed the inside zipper is plastic. The front slide pocket under the flap - its edge comes up too high. It's not flush with the side of the bag. The black dye job inside the purse stops before the edge seams so there's some gray raw leather and some black raw leather. The stitching on the handle seems crappy. The raw lining on the inside zipper pocket is gray and doesn't match the rest of the "black" raw lining. The seller doesn't post pictures of these flaws, but upon inspection in person, they're easy to spot. I just need someone to confirm/refute my suspicion. Below are pictures of the product I took when I got it.

This bag was made in 1999 and nylon zippers were used for the inside pockets at that time. The front slide pocket is not supposed to be flush with the sides of the bag - it should be lower, as in this listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-class...763?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item4ac7851da3 Now that I see your pictures, your pocket looks fine.
It is okay and common to see some white edges around the inside seams of a bag where the dye didn't reach.
