Item: 2003 Legacy Crescent Saddle Bag
Serial #G3S-9718
Approx: 8.5 x 12 x 3.5
Comments: Looks & Feels wonderful with a beautiful soft hand. Other Crescent bags I've located with the same plant code don't say "individually burnished" in their creed. Were Crescent's made with a burnished finish? .........I sure hope so, because this bag will make a gorgeous rehab!

ETA: Pic of Creed

Coach used that burnished finish and creed on some bags during 2003-04 especially the British Tan ones. I don't see any problems with it.

Authentication please:

I'll wait on further opinions on the "chunky" but Thanks! for the info on the City Bag. They were purchased as a pair and I think I got a great deal. Authentication.... is 90% of the challenge. Thanks for your knowledge :woohoo:

Several for authentication please. Apologies in advance for the poor lighting from my kitchen. Its been raining so much, I haven't seen sunlight in what seems like weeks!

Item: Vtg Stewardess
Serial #0341-441 - made in the United States but creed is worn way down
Approx dimensions: 10 x 11 x 4.5
Comments: Looks & feels good; but I've been burned with more than 1 stewardess.

It seems ok to me.

I'm so relieved.... This bag is beautiful, even if currently unloved. So soft...a very high end quality leather..... there were very subtle differences between this bag and what others I could find and was hoping that possibly the burnished pieces had a few characteristics that differentiated them from others. In any event......my thanks for your expertise!

Interesting the Lariat, #4205, appears larger than the Dakota in the advert. My Ranger bag is noticeably larger than the Lariat IRL .

Mixed emotions on this one. It needs a lot of TLC and I've not rehabbed an "all-wealther" style bag.....................Off to rehab for yet another challenge

I've had several of the "burnished" bags from the early 2000s and most of them seemed to have the word "soft" as part of the official name. The leather was VERY soft and squishable and the burnishing added a patina'd look to the leather.

Still trying to find it ... and trying to do two things at once never works. :graucho:

ETA - OK, let's try a Rider Bag, style 4200
