I bought this and I'm 99% sure it's authentic but something is telling me to have it checked out! I bought second hand, it's a Maggie Madison design, ultramarine color. Please verify me trusting the lady was the right thing to do!

Item: Robin's Egg Blue Lunchbox
Ebay purchase, in my possession
Size: 9" l x 7" h x 3.25" d, strap 48" long
Unlined leather, Brass hardware
Creed Details: Has Bullet & FS imprints, "Handcrafted in the United States", #C7C-9991
Comments:
Its a lot prettier than my photos show - needs some minor TLC, but the color is lovely (& hard to shoot the color accurately). Appears okay to me, but size seems a bit larger than an older black Lunchbox I owned in the past - so want to be sure -- and any thoughts on size?

Sorry, we had a lot of requests during that time period, and it was hard to keep track of which ones we'd already replied to.

It's always a big help if posters either use the full format required in Post # 1, or do as you did in that post and add a description and the color and serial number of the bag. Better yet, if asking for several authentications at the same time, put two or three requests in each post so we don't have such a large number to work though at the same time.

The bag in the post is genuine, I don't know the name.

I've only found one catalog listing, Spring 1997 - the dimensions are given as 9x7 1/2 x3 5/8. Apparently it was marked as a Final Sale because of the color variation.

Thanks Hyacinth! Maybe the size thing is just an optical illusion caused by a lighter & less carried bag. The older looking lunchbox I had was black and a lot more worn (& far more squooshy from use). I gave it to my niece, will have to do a physical check when I see her.

The color on this baby looks a lot better in natural light, my mobile phone flash accentuated the difference a lot. There was also some shelf wear type of grunge that needs attended to, but I'm pretty happy, I think she'll clean up nicely :)
