There's a lot wrong with it - the creed font, the inside zipper pull, the silver hardware, and the fact that "Coachbag" looks like one word. There was another suspected fake posted here just in the last week or so with a similar C6G- prefix. In fact the C and G look a bit like the wonky "Sonoma" in this post::

The style number looks like -8963 but that doesn't fit anything in my files and probably wouldn't even have been used in a mid-1990s bag. It also has silver hardware which an early 1996 bag shouldn't have, and it doesn't look like any 1996 style I can remember.

Hi Hyacinth! That inside zipper gave me the heebie-jeebies! Is a report in order?

I have to stop looking for unusual bags on eBay! Once again, I'm curious:

Comments: I thought this one was kind of interesting. Does anyone have any information about the style?

Thanks so much!
For a rare style, I've seen several of these in the last few days! It is a Becket zip 9920 from 1993. I have one in purple, Katev has a few, and Porter4 just got one in a gorgeous green: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach/show-us-your-coach-secondhand-bargains-745615-174.html#post24981436
It is a really nice large size for a vintage bag.

Whoa - do I feel stupid! It must have been the angle, because I didn't recognize it.

Believe it or not, I JUST TODAY got one in navy. I thought the ivory one might be from the same general line, but I didn't realize it was the exact same style. I've always liked the "odd" strap attachments on that bag, and I got a great deal on one in amazing condition.

Thanks, whateve. I'm feeling rather dumb right now!
