Hello all. This is my first post and hopefully I am not resurrecting an old thread. I wish I discovered this forum before I bought but this is what I have:

British Tan Coach 0729
http://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/151317086/vintage-coach-british-tan-leather-cross?ref=col_view

camel Coach 9060 - worried about this one, Coach creed is slightly off-center on inside pocket
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/200918105302

Navy coach 4141 - may have been polished
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/321104584168

The navy one is too small for my needs and I am trying to resell it, is this a problem? I do not want to be a problem seller for another buyer. I already gave positive feedback to the sellers but I could take things up in paypal disputes if they are problematic bags.

Thank you for your help in advance. Especially looking forward to hearing from Hyacinth.

I'm not Hyacinth so I'll let her answer.

Item: Black Metropolitan Briefcase (crossing fingers that it's real)
Creed Details: "Handcrafted in China" #M053-5180

Another briefcase rescue from a thrift shop - feels almost new, but has a small tear on flap that I'll get repaired if it's genuine. Its so clean & new otherwise that I immediately thought it must be a fake. Am hoping not, would like to rehab for me :) Also came with a really gorgeous *Gold!!! (holymoley) MontBlanc pen inside :D

Thanks as always!

*Edited to correct metal that this stunning pen is made of.. I'm going to DisneyWorld!!

Sorry Whateve, I hope I didn't exclude you. If you know anything, I will be happy to hear from you too. I am a rookie at this and all help would be appreciated.
I don't see any problems with any of them, but I can't read the creed on the second one. It is okay if the creed wording is correct and it says "made in the United States". If you list the last one, you should disclose the use of polish.

Thank you Hyacinth. Does the fact that the creed is slightly off-center mean anything? It is not pressed very hard into the leather. I did try taking pics with my phone camera but it is still hard to read. I don't know if I can post my own photos as I am a new member.

Again, I'm not Hyacinth. The creed slightly off-center doesn't mean anything. These were hand-stamped so it isn't going to be perfect every time.

Hey, I'm not greedy - any qualified authenticator who knows the answers is always welcome to post. And there are some styles and time periods when it's much better to let someone who's more experienced give their opinion.

1- genuine Scout Bag style 9890 from 1991-92
2- it's hard to see just how off-center the creed actually is from those photos. It's probably genuine but a better and wider-view pic of the creed would help
3- looks like a genuine Soho Rivington Bag. Like Whateve said, always mention if a bag's been re-dyed or has any kind of polish on it.

Hi all!

The one item I have on my Coach wishlist (it's pretty limited - since I'm a guy) is a classic Made in the USA leather briefcase.
I have one that's a Made in China leather/nylon combo.. but I feel it's lacking something that the classic leather ones do.
Anyway.. I found a couple "worn" bags on eBay (condition doesn't matter to me very much as they will be an everyday bag) that I would like authenticated before I bid away.

Here they are...

Item: Vintage Coach Briefcase Leather
Listing number: 271236622978
Seller: anitagoods37
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271236622978?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Comments: Would appreciate a date on this bag if possible.

Item: Coach Vintage Well Worn Leather Briefcase Totebag Shoulderbag Low Start Bid .99
Listing number: 271236653432
Seller: spirit_of_thrift
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271236653432?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Comments: I know these older ones are harder to date, do any of you have an ~ year of production?

Thanks in advance so very much,

Sam

Please accept my apologies again, Whateve, I just realized my mistake. Please pardon my rookie forum mistakes. This is something I will remember and hopefully never repeat. Thank you for your patience.
