I just bought a bag on ebay and am hoping you can authenticate before I pay. It looks to be a NYC Stewardess (except the depth measurement is off..10 inches?).

That's "China" in French, like "crepe de Chine"

The Sheridans can have creeds where the Costa Rican plant mixed up the order of the digits on the creed. This bag was made in 1995 in January. The month and year codes are reversed. It is pretty common.

Notes: This lady had 3 bags listed in this listing. One of them had a Korean creed. I contacted her and she immediately took it down. I was just looking at this a little closer, and the style number on this is 9930 (Murphy) not 9958 Pelham Zip. Thoughts?

I noticed the Korean one too. I wondered who had told her. I noticed she didn't lower the price. I didn't notice that the style number didn't match until you pointed it out. I don't have a Pelham Zip to compare to but I think the ring on the zipper pull is too big. I've seen that identical ring on fakes. I think it is probably fake.
