The bag appears to be authentic. I guess the question is whether you can live with the nail polish stain.

Although we don't offer "value and price" advice, I personally think $150 is high for a bag in that condition.

How did you get the link?? I am technologically challenged lol :p
I think I could live with the stain but not for that price. I feel like it needs rescued lol. Who puts nail polish in their Coach purse?!

Thanks, BB.

You're welcome.

I went to poshmark and searched "Coach gray patent maggie." I knew the title to search because your screenshot showed it.

Hi ladies, can you please comment on the authenticity of these bags? Many thanks.

Item: Small red made in new york city crossbody bag
link: http://s2.photobucket.com/user/cavyart/library/Red small NYC bag
seller: yard sale 10 bucks i think

Seems good to me but i'd rather be sure and also what is the name of this bag and it's style number.
I also have this same bag in navy with bt trim. That one is still pre 94 but not a NYC bag. I like this style bc the strap is just sewn on the sides. I get tired of cleaning those brass rings. lol.

I'm assuming the red one is a good rare find since it's a NYC bag, red and in extremely good condition and has it's original one sided hang tag, just needs the brass shined. Vintage red bags always seem to be a good find. :)

Item: black tote bag

Seller: it's at my goodwill right now for 10 bucks.
Comments: forgive me for the lousy pictures. I had to snap these pictures quick before we left the store and I didn't really want my manager asking me why i was taking pictures of the purses.

At the same time they also put out a black 01 costa rica stewardess bag with SEVERE damage to some of the binding and some kind of older black zip hobo but alas it has a zipper that doesn't zip no matter which way you zip it...each of these were also 10 bucks each. It's been like 3 days and no customers have even looked twice at these bags.
Hoping the only one that isn't damaged is actually authentic but it kinda looks funny to me since the color of the thread is so light. and I dunno the creed looks off to me a bit. Is it just me or does it seem like sometimes the creeds aren't stamped as well in black bags compared to other colors? Again sorry the pics aren't that good if you can't tell that's ok. It's just hard for me to get a good pic of something like that at work without someone wondering what the heck I'm doing. And i'm not buying it if i'm suspicious without posting it here first.

1. Authentic. The seller's measurements don't make any sense. It is probably a Compartment Bag 9850, made between 1989 and the early 90's.

2. Authentic. Looks like a convertible clutch from the late 70's or 80's. They have a dog but it doesn't wear the clothes! :roflmfao:

It looks like a mini bag 9825.

I can't see it very well. Is the creed C0U - 9305? Was it made in Hungary? It looks like a Bleecker bucket. These had contrasting stitching. It is probably okay but I can't be sure without better pictures.

It looks like C0D-9305 and United States to my eyes.

D and US would be right for this style.

I forgot to say that creeds are often really hard to read in black bags. That doesn't mean they aren't authentic.

Next time, split it into a few posts. It is hard to keep track of so many.

1. Looks fine. Would it be so difficult for them to put the creed photo right side up? It appears to be missing the strap.

2. Genuine Chrystie bag

3. Authentic Devon

4. Fake

5. Description says "Coach esque", meaning it isn't a Coach

6. Hard to tell from the pictures. It looks like an authentic Manor bag. Missing the strap. This is a very heavy bag because of the two sections.

7. I can't read the creed well enough to be sure of authenticity. It looks like a Court, but it has something on it, like polish. It is way too shiny.

8. Can't authenticate without a creed picture.

9. Not sure about this one. I've seen that plant code used for two different plants at exactly the same time.

10. Looks like an authentic Rambler's Legacy.
