Item: Ergo Hobo from 1998?

Seller: local antique mall
Comments: sorry the creed is a little dirty. :) found this at the local antique mall and did a search on the style number, so not sure I have the name even remotely correct

Is it possible to authenticate a cell phone holder? Not very wound up about it, since this little cutie cost about $4 at Goodwill. :) No creed patch, the inside is fabric, and has a little slip pocket made out of elastic. The bottom is stamped "Made in China".

It looks genuine. Probably between 10 and 15 years old, back when many cell phones still had some sort of exterior antenna.

The whole serial number looks wrong - the font AND the stamping marks around the outside of the digits. That badly-stitched strap is a problem too.

The few bags I've seen with F plant codes have almost all had some problems - there's only one I remember that seemed acceptable, and this one makes me wonder even more.

They all look ok. The second ones are Saddle Pouches. Not sure about the name of the third, the measurements are too large to be the Large Slim Satchel. I'm pretty sure it's the Handle Portfolio, style 5050.
If the style number of the last one ends in a 6, it's an Equestrian Slim Bucket.
