Please help me authenticate this purse. This is confusing me, Im reading a few different things online about the creed being in cursive and I want to make sure this is a legit purse. I tried to take a few different pictures of the creed so you can see it but its so gold that its hard to, I hope you can decipher what it says. It also doesnt say where the purse was made (other than a tag on the side that says Made in China). Help would be much appreciated.
Also, the zippered pocket is pretty high up. Im wondering if its normal for this type of purse.

First of all, please STOP reading those useless and dangerous online "authenticity guides" that are like a plague of locusts on the Internet. Most of them are just plain WRONG. Some Coaches did have creeds printed in cursive. Please read the Sig under all my posts - there's a reason it's there.

What worries me is that the other versions of this style on Ebay have a different lining - someone who has the actual and confirmed genuine version of this style needs to take a look.

However, this older post at the main Coach forum says
"Re: Legacy Lining
most of the new sig stripe totes 11098 and 11099 have it. The new Black/Gunmetal and Brown/Bronze do not."

http://forum.purseblog.com/coach/legacy-lining-208214.html

So yours could be genuine since it's the Brown and Bronze combination..

The bag is fake - look at the stitching around the small Coach patch on the outside. The whole patch is a sloppy crooked MESS. Normally we'd ask to see the creed patch but in this case it's not neccessary. PLEASE post a Comment there that the bag has been verified as fake at tPF.

EDITED TO ADD - If this is the wallet, it seems ok although there's one tiny thing that worries me. I wish the seller had shown the cards that are in the slots.

We don't discuss values - a bag is worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. Please check the first post in this thread, it explains the rules of this particular forum.

Your links aren't working either. I had to Copy just the URL for the photo and paste it into the address bar. It's a good idea to always check your post to make sure the links are working.

You said the pictures were of 2 purses? I'm only seeing one. It's a Chadwick Satchel from around 1993.

EDITED to add - Never mind, I see you changed your post while I was answering.

The tote is a Lafayette Bag from 1995.

Actually, I wasnt really reading anything, more of looking up the same purse on ebay and google to see if they match. I read something on here about it, but didnt save it so cant use it as a reference. This is the place I come to to make sure the purses are authentic, other than purchasing them from the store itself. The reason I am here is to make sure it is legit, I am aware there are 'guides' out there that are false, and that is the sole purpose of me making this account, so I can make sure its real.
Thank you for your input.

Sometimes the information posted here isn't correct either, especially if whoever posted it is getting her information from the wrong places, or if it's a very old post.

Hyacinth, my convertible clutch has those seams in the bottom corner and the seam in the center. The seams at the corners don't go all the way across but are more like a "tuck" or "dart" in the solid strip for the corners. It is all one piece with the center seam. I tried to take pictures but not sure you can see what I mean. :-/

No, it's not enough. The seller needs to post clear photos of the creed patch and serial number.

Thank you Hyacinth! Being new to this forum I can already see the great benefits and learning from others too. I did go back to person who listed tote bag and have asked for clear photos. No more bidding if that can't be provided. Not sure if Coach ever made plastic canvas or vinyl or whatever this material is. It looks very cute but who wants to pay $$ for a non-authentic bag?

Ended up removing the listing per sellers request, she wasnt home and was unable to upload the needed images.. she will be relisting later. thanks for your help :)

Requesting help authenticating this bag, please:

ITEM: 9" x 5 3/4" x 1 3/4", black bag
LISTING: N/A
COMMENT: Creed serial number is 150-9726; made in NYC. I believe this is an older bag but haven't seen this particular hangtag before.

Thanks!
